Some Communication Issues
First, I didn't realize that Ultra Transport contracts out to different companies. A company called Nicoli Transport actually transported the car. There was good communication when the car was first picked up. However, on the receiving end, we were given less than an hour's notice! Both my husband and I were at work. When I called the driver and asked why he didn't give us more notice, he stated that he had gotten in state late the night before. I asked him why he didn't text me at that time. He responded that, yes, he should have done that.

Almost perfect!
Communication from my booking to delivery was top notch. Phone calls and emails ending with a call from thier sub-contracted driver 3hrs from delivery. It would have been 5stars if they could have matched the lowest bid on u-ship!

Hi Raj, We appreciate your feedback. There's a saying "you get what you pay for." While we are often the lowest price on the vast majority of routes, sometimes competitors will quote prices they themselves wouldn't be able to honor. That's why on uShip, most providers do not have a 100% Booking Request Acceptance Rate. Just because you request a booking through uShip at a given price doesn't guarantee that the provider will accept the job at that price and if they do, they may not be able to ship it. Above all else, we strive to be 100% honest and up-front throughout the process, which includes pricing. Finally, since you did book your order through uShip, it's not clear what you mean by us "not matching the lowest bid on uShip" if you chose to book our Published Rate, which is an automated pricing model and for which we wouldn't even have the opportunity to match a lower competitor unless you had called us directly. Need a flexible schedule to work with these guys
Car was eventually picked up and delivered, but not according to the schedule I was told. I had to continually call the driver directly to get a sense of what day and time they would show up (2+ days late) and when they would deliver (also 2 days late). There was a slight hick-up regarding who pays whom when they delivered, but I steered them to the broker and I believe that was the end of that.

Hi Robert, Thank you for your feedback. Some flexibility is required regardless of whom you ship with. (Unless you pay considerably more for guaranteed service.) When you booked with us through uShip.com, pickup was estimated to occur within 5 days of the vehicle being available and delivery to occur within 6 days of pickup. The reason for these estimates are to account for delays, which can happen occasionally. Our records indicate that the vehicle was delivered on January 20th (4 days after booking) which was when the uShip payment code was redeemed.
