I have a large amount of funds on this card. I have contacted support and am being told to deal with a telegram page? Sounds very suspicious to me. Has anyone else done this? What was outcome?

Back in 2025 this was an incredible option. But right now, nothing works. Not anywhere in the world… It all started in May 2026… After months of emailing, and being promised a solution, the solution has never come. Everytime “Next week this will be resolved.” Why are you even lying!? What is the point!? We spent $600 on this card. They fail to take responsibility. Pure theft! JBD YES Laos bank has been removed from the partnership. We have been scammed. TELL US ULTIMOPAY/ULTIMOX; WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!? It seems like they have no clue and no plan. So they just lie to their customers that things will be resolved soon. It looks like they are doing nothing. Be honest and update us UltimoX!!!

Last year, I would have happily given the Utimopay debit card 5 stars. Unfortunately, due to sanctions and restrictions, the card no longer works for me within the EU or UK. The reason I am giving just 1 star is that Utimopay still appears to be advertising the debit card and charging a $600 sign-up fee, despite the fact that the card cannot currently be used in the EU or UK. In my view, this should be made much clearer to potential customers before they pay such a large fee. Had this information been clearly stated upfront, it would have saved a lot of disappointment and frustration.

I am disappointed with how UltimoPay/UltimoX has handled this situation. Customers are still being directed through Telegram and asked to transfer card funds to an administrator's personal account, with no secure company-account alternative offered. Their latest response simply directed me back to a community admin. For a service handling customers' money, I personally don't consider this an adequate or professional solution. DO NOT USE

I am a user not affiliated in any way but the negative reviews here are not accurate. Yes there is a fee to open the account and receive the card but that is a one off and is because of the offshore account that is created for you to give you privacy. That financial and spending privacy (through Visa) is worth every penny in my view. Yes as of today the card is blocked in EU and UK because of blanket sanctions on Russia - nothing to do with Ultimo or what they can control. They are currently looking at compliant workarounds. My own experience is that the off ramping process is smooth and low fees and now with an enhanced UI with perps, swaps and loans as well as the card services. If you value privacy I dont know of another alternative.

Don't even think about it - you will lose your money. They operate through JDB Laos - this institution was completely removed from VISA due to EU sanctions. The card does not work absolutely anywhere. Check - the JDB app is completely removed from the Google and Apple stores. It is impossible to return the deposited money. UltimaPay is lying that this will be resolved soon - after 10 years, when will the sanctions due to the war end?
