FRAUD!!!!!!!!!! They tried to charge me 350 euro, only to be declined by my bank for "fraudelent transfer". On home page its marketed as 20 pounds. Be careful

Ich bin leider auf diese Website hereingefallen, weil ich dachte, es handle sich um die offizielle UK-ETA-Seite der britischen Regierung. Für meine ETA wurde mir CHF 159.76 berechnet, obwohl die offizielle ETA lediglich £20 kostet.
Die ETA wurde weder ausgestellt noch genehmigt, und ich war schockiert, als ich den tatsächlich belasteten Betrag sah. Ich habe den Kundendienst sofort kontaktiert und um eine vollständige Rückerstattung gebeten. Stattdessen wurde mir lediglich eine Rückerstattung von 50 % angeboten, was ich nicht akzeptiert habe.
Rückblickend hätte ich genauer prüfen sollen, ob es sich um die offizielle Regierungswebsite handelt. Gleichzeitig finde ich, dass die Gestaltung der Website und der Buchungsprozess leicht den Eindruck vermitteln können, man befinde sich auf einer offiziellen Seite.
Ich empfehle jedem, die ETA ausschliesslich über die offizielle Website der britischen Regierung zu beantragen und vor der Zahlung genau zu prüfen, welche Gebühren erhoben werden.
Meine Erfahrung war enttäuschend, insbesondere wegen der verweigerten vollständigen Rückerstattung.

STAAAAAAY AWAAAAY!!! Pure fraud! Advertising 20 Pounds and then empties your bank account!!!! Final payment- before you give them your details didn’t show and suddenly I paid 197 USD! All I am doing is a transit within Europe… But you do not get to see what you are paying them, till they have ripped you 10 times the amount that is normal…. Its such a scam…. Now I had to close my bank account to make sure they cannot misuse it, but lost 200 USD!!!! Do noooooot go there!!! Huge scam! They have a UK website, support said he eas in the US??? But support was clearly NOT US nod UK citizen

It’s a scam. They charge 800% the real cost
It’s a scam. They charge you 800% more than the real cost. It looks like the right way to apply, but it is not. They charge you 170 euros for what is supposed to cost 20 British pounds. The official source to use is reached through the GOV.UK website, where you can use the application they link to, or the online application.
