I like typingmind for the possibility to use different LLMs as needed. There's one thing that really disturbs: Most of the time when I start the typingmind app on my Mac I get a white screen reading "buy a lincense". If I start typingmind from the browser, and then click on open, the app works as expected

Overall, my biggest issues are that many features and settings are not intuitive. Getting a chat rolling, getting a basic agent rolling, getting some models setup via API are all good. Stretching out beyond that at times is difficult without having to stop and try to read information. Sometimes a few simple tool tips would be a fantastic thing to have. I'm only giving it a three because I feel some of that usability needs alot of polish. Overall though, I have had a positive experience.

TypingMind is a game-changer if you don't want to commit to just one AI company. I love that I can use various models in one place and only pay for what I actually need. It’s very beginner-friendly, and the built-in guides are excellent—whenever I have a question, I can easily find the right explanation within the app. Great UI and very intuitive!"

Even with all the improvements in Claude Desktop app I still prefer working in TypingMind for my text heavy to-dos, like prompt creation and document creation. It's hard to iterate in Claude Desktop sometimes. but the TypingMind chat interface and the wide range of models make iterating quick and easy. Love it!
