YoutubeReviews of tv.youtube.com

My experience with YouTube Tv has been good for movies and shows. However recording sports programs is very poor. The audio is poor. It cuts in and out. The video freezes and restarts. I have called customer service numerous times. You would think for what I pay it would be better. I wonder who has better dvr. Also live TV is horrible.

I came home tonight wanting to watch my hometown Atlanta falcons football game from earlier today. YouTube TV even though I had asked to record all the Atlanta falcons games will not show me the game. They want to charge me an additional fee. I already pay them what I think is way too much for less than expected services. I hope they read this review and work to improve their coverage so that people that have lived in Atlanta and pay their high fees can watch the games that they have asked to be recorded. I give them a great big thumbs down. We need better options. Hopefully another company will offer those options so that we can move service away from YouTube TV!!

One of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had. I contacted YouTube TV because my local NBC station had been stuck in the same commercial loop for two days on both my iPad and LG TV. I explained multiple times that I had already signed out, reinstalled the app, and tried different devices, yet support kept asking me to repeat the same basic troubleshooting. At one point, they even had me troubleshoot the NBC app—even though I repeatedly said I was watching through YouTube TV. After nearly an hour, they finally admitted it was a known issue their engineers were already working on. That information could have saved me a lot of wasted time. The representatives were polite, but they clearly weren't listening. Terrible support experience.

After 2 plus years of subscribing to youtubetv I chose to suspend my membership due to the sudden loss of ABC and Disney owned channels. On January 28,2026 I received a promotional offer from Youtubetv to receive a modest $10 discount for 6 months. I agreed, reinstated my membership and after several attempts to get access it finally went through. I had immediately received a confirmation email stating the promotion I agreed to. I went to my credit card web service and noted the full charge levied by youtubetv without any promotional discount. I then verified via my youtubetv account that no discount was noted for future payments. I called their customer support, was placed on hold by Christine for over 15 minutes and upon returning she pretended I was no longer audible and she hung up. I called back 4 consecutive times and was disconnected each time. I subsequently canceled my membership, not because of the discount amount, but because they outright lied and used a bait and switch scheme. I wondered how many thousands of people do they do this to. I lost a service I enjoyed but can never trust again.

I am currently a YouTube TV subscriber and I listen to YouTube music. Both do not control the volume levels of their advertisers. YouTube has blown out my mini JBL speakers and YouTube TV has blown out my dell monitor speakers. Although commercials in general are too loud, which the FCC needs to address, local channels at least maintain enough control over their channels that it does not damage the end users speakers. I didn't keep track of the date's of these experiences but they were not within the last couple of weeks but the blowout commercials happen on a frequent basis. I'm sure many other end users would agree.

I wasted nearly 2 hours trying to redeem the $20 Disney credit while they were in negotiations. Why don't they just knock $20 off everyone's bill who has Disney? Ended up calling their customer service people since NOTHING online would work. It was my pleasure wasting their time since they insisted on wasting so much of mine.
