My honest feedback
I’m writing this not as part of a promotion or a free gift offer, which Snow does extend. This is just a genuine review that will hopefully help someone make a decision. A lot of the reviews for this company do seem inflated for the “free stuff.” Overall, my experience was mediocre. I was hesitant because of the high price point but felt spontaneous. The items in my order took a week to arrive and I’m in the contiguous US. Personally, I thought this was slow considering how much it costs. I also had the toothpaste in my order and that took an ADDITIONAL 2 weeks to arrive because they had restocking issues which I had to ask about because no one communicated upfront. Some of my items also came damaged. I contacted them about a mouthpiece with frayed wires which once again was disappointing due to the price. The customer service team did send a replacement to make it right though. The process was pretty simple - I used the max wand for 30 minutes a day for 21 days, as recommended. My teeth were between a 2-3 on their shade scale before I started and after 21 days, I think I got to somewhere between 1-2. Definitely don’t have tic-tac white teeth as most of the influencers seem to tout. But I get it, everyone is different. I guess for the quantity of product you get, the price is justifiable. It feels like I have a lifetime supply of gel. It’s also nice to have the 5 year warranty. As for the toothpaste, I don’t think it’s worth it. There are no anticavity ingredients in this. I compared it with my regular toothpaste and don’t see anything that would actually keep your mouth healthy. The ingredients also don’t list hydrogen peroxide, which I assumed was the whitening component. So I’m not really sure what this toothpaste does. I’m not claiming to be a scientist or dentist but I can compare ingredients and it just seems like fillers. I personally don’t use this paste by itself. I’ll do like half of my toothbrush with Snow and the other half with regular toothpaste. But again, not sure how it’s doing anything. The floss has charcoal in it which I know has been proven to break down enamel, so I hesitate with this product. Given it’s in small quantities and just goes between your teeth maybe it isn’t harmful? Once again, not a dentist. I also had the lip balm. This is just regular lip balm… I don’t see any difference. It claims it’s also helpful with sun rays but there’s no SPF or anything so don’t fall for that. One thing that bothered me is how the company claims everything is made in the US.. however the packaging I got for some items says Made in China. It’s just deceiving on their part. Also, if you buy from their website and later opt to return, you will be charged with a restocking fee and will have to pay for shipping. So it’s not a very friendly return policy.
