We are sorry to hear that, but we want to assure you that at the moment when the casket been delivered, it was in perfect condition, each individual casket has a checklist attached to it, that proves the quality. We pack our products with the thick carton package with an additional styrofoam layer for protection around the casket, and extra protection on each corner. Additionally, from the outside of the box, we usually add the layer of plywood to protect the box from the lift forks, that usually used to unload the heavy boxes. The caskets are the only product we sell, we pay great attention to the quality of our products and the safety of their transportation. We understand that quality matters, and first of all, it is the image and face of our company. All the funeral homes check all the caskets in therms of the scratches and any kind of the damages before accepting them, and if the casket was accepted, that means casket was in the perfect condition at the moment of delivery, if any kind of damages or defects were found, funeral directors can just refuse the delivery or call us for exchange. On the day of the delivery, we were in contact with your funeral home, and they didn't mention any kind of damages. Unfortunately, not all funeral homes show the same deep concern about funeral products, especially if the casket was bought from a third-party seller like us. When people buying caskets from us, the funeral homes missing the opportunity to earn an additional 2-3 thousand in profits. The casket can be scratched even with a knife during the unpacking. also, keep in mind, that this is a rather heavy item, the weight of an empty casket is about 200 pounds and after delivery and unpacking, it can be easily damaged if it's not been carefully moved using special cart from the storage to the preparation room and from there to viewing table.
