The driver and tour guide were amazing Three landscape breathtaking

If you trust the influencer who is hosting the trip, think that you relate well to their subscriber-base, are interested in the location they've selected, and can afford the trip, I would say take the plunge and enjoy an unforgettable experience and (hopefully) make new friends! I had a BLAST on my recent trip! It is a bit on the pricey end (depending on the trip), and you can definitely travel solo/put together your own group if you're just interested in visiting the location. BUT, I was nervous to travel alone since I didn't speak the language or even know how to start planning my own trip here, and I was optimistic about making new friends in the group and getting to participate in pre-planned activities, so this was definitely a good option for me. Now that I've done it once, I think I COULD plan my own trip next time, but only because this experience trained me so well!

Overall it was a fantastic once in a lifetime trip. The hotels and destinations were amazing. Our host Jarad Rydelek 'The Wierd Explorer' was friendly and unbelievably knowledgeable. He made what was an amazing trip into a genuine once in a lifetime experience. The local guide was really helpful and had good knowledge of everything. He took worked hard to tailor the experience to our unusual tour focus. The street food was good but the welcome meal was quite underwhelming. It would have been nice to have air-conditioning in the first restaurant as we hadn't long been in the country and hadn't acclimatised to the heat at all. The bike tour on the last day was amazing. All our drivers were happy and enthusiastic and the guide made sure we were satisfied at every destination. I couldn't recommend touring with a local guide more.

TrovaTrip is a scam and an MLM. Not only did they not deliver on the trip and services promised, they are openly negligent. When almost everyone on our trip complained, they have blamed the tour operator that they outsourced to and said they can't do anything about it. Our over $3K USD tour (NOT including flights) lacked proper guides, accommodations and attractions. The guide Luigi lacked any expertise, shared personal stories and ignored questions. He also yelled at us for asking questions. Literally yelled at us and our host had to tell him to stop yelling at us. The constantly changing travel itinerary caused stress and inaccurate travel times - like being on a bus for 3 hours with no rest stop or having to have dinner at a gas station. Key attractions were just skipped - imagine going to Rome and not seeing the Colosseum or Pantheon? Will we didn't, so no imagining needed. One day there was a 5 hour delay because they double booked an attraction - we sat in sun with no food or water. The accommodations were awful, one costing just 100 Euros on booking.com. They offered us a 200USD refund only for the attractions missed (pasta cooking class, Colosseum visit, walking tour) not addressing our much bigger concerns. They refuse to do anything else and told our host she would need to compensate us if she wanted to refund us further. Their 'investigation' is closed despite only calling one person about their concerns when over 15 people submitted complaints.

Trova partners with knowledgeable guides and the company provides supplies so that the stress of traveling is put at ease because the planning you as the traveler actually have to put into it is minimal! Such a wonderful way to visit beautiful places. Going on my second Trova trip to South Africa this october!

I had a wonderful experience with TrovaTrip. The trip was everything I wanted. I loved that I was exploring nature with a group of like-minded women. The trip was well-planned and it was the perfect combination of relaxing and adventurous. I'd use Trovatrip again.

I’ve used similar style travel companies & toured extensively. Trova trip is defo a company I’d recommend & use again. It’s very well organised, safe, great for solo travellers & has comfortable accommodation & quality travel vehicles. Really good trips & guides, which makes the experience so much better.
