We had a wonderful custom birding tour of Namibia and Botswana.

Excellent birding leader, safe, courteous driver, office support staff is customer friendly, and Ecuador is a very birdy country. A great trip to southern Ecuador

Had a great time with Tropical Birding. Our guide, Pablo, always had us in the right place at the right time, with the right light to get the best shots. Would definitely travel with them again.

Overall excellent. Phil Chaon was wonderful guide and logistics/accommodations were excellent.

Great guide and great driver. Three-week trip. First week a week-long stay at one lodge in Amazon. Guide was good, although sick for most of the week. He could whistle all the calls without using a tape—very impressie. Good food, good experience. Second and third weeks touring southern Ecuador. Great guide and driver, fun, funny, knowledgeable and able to get every bird!! Many lodges, most fine, some rustic, some cold. Great food, but too much at meals with too long a wait between meals. Caused digestive discomfort for both weeks. Great variety of places and habitats but a bit frenetic of a pace.

Sam, our TB guide, did an amazing job at finding the birds and other wildlife on our custom tour of Borneo. Sam’s great energy and perseverance helped us all get great views of our target species. This was my fourth trip with Tropical Birding. This one was to the Atlantic Forest of Brazil. Every trip has been run with the same efficiency and quality. From the time I land at the airport to the time I am dropped back off everything is taken care of. The guides are extremely knowledgeable ans amazing at knowing bird calls. I will soon be booking a fifth trip!
