I used Triple-A to top up my balance on MTCGAME on 17 May 2025 for US $2,020 (payment reference MPU-434142-PMT). Minutes after the crypto payment went through, Triple-A emailed that the transaction “could not be processed,” yet they were “securely holding” my funds and would update me within two business days. Two business days passed without a word. When I chased them, support answered that they first had to “investigate the possibility of issuing a refund” and—if approved—the money might come back in another five business days. No reason, no firm timeline, no guarantee, just a request for more patience. Triple-A has taken the money while delivering no service, gives only vague compliance excuses (“multiple reasons”), and keeps moving the goal-posts—from a two-day update to a five-day “maybe.” This is troubling given that Triple-A is a Major Payment Institution licensed by Singapore’s MAS; under the Payment Services Act they should safeguard and return customer funds promptly, not “investigate whether” to refund them. Until Triple-A actually refunds me, I recommend using another gateway and, if you’re already stuck like me, documenting every message and being ready to escalate to MAS. I’ll update this review if Triple-A refund my money, but for now one star is generous. Update – 23 May 2025: I have now received the full refund and have raised my rating from 1 start to 3 stars. I appreciate that Triple-A ultimately honoured the payment and that regulatory checks are sometimes necessary. However, if extra documents (ID, source-of-funds, etc.) are required, please request them immediately; the long silence while my money was on hold caused unnecessary stress. The wording in their emails—“investigate the possibility of issuing a refund” and “if approved”—also alarms customers by implying the refund might be denied without first asking for the necessary documents. Clearer, faster communication would make the process far less anxious for users like me.

Triple-A is easy to use and it offers competitive crypto conversion rates. Their support teams have also been very responsive to my questions. Highly recommend it!
