I tried to add hotels I already booked on booking.com to the itinerary but the booking.com option does not even show them if one wanted to book them onsite. Hotel booking sites needed a long time to load or did not load at all. Quite a few spelling mistakes on location names and road names. Not critical but it makes an impression. I thought TripHobo would be easier to use with my planning. But I may be going back to my Excel planning which worked well over many years.

I just want software to plan an itinerary. Entered all the details, was told to refresh the screen and lost everything. What a complete waste of time.

I need to plan a trip that involves several modes of transportation, some public, some with rented cars, and flights. If you need to plan a trip with this much variation, this is not the place for you.

The long 3 weeks trip around South Island of NZ did not plan interestingly. It created eventually a calendar with some offers around the places i had to preselect. Not very interesting. I have read then multiple trips of such length online which were much more helpful in planning with a much less time wasted. Maybe it is helping in urban travel planning, i'm not sure.

Actually, I thought the idea of having hop on - hop off transportation was great. However, signing up for two senior riders wasn't possible. It kept saying 1 adult had to be added. We are adults so why wouldn't I be able to get discounts for two senior riders - that was frustrating. Then the day I purchased the tickets for, it rained and the only seats left were wet and cold and I wasn't about to sit on a wet seat in the rain for a tour around Vancouver Island. We had to walk all the way back from Chinatown to our hotel in the harbour. Thank goodness we brought our umbrellas, but the walk back caused my ankle to swell and my sister's knees to hurt. This was a surprise birthday trip for her and I hoped everything would have been perfect. So I know weather can't be helped, but a fully covered bus on a rainy day would be appreciated. We hardly got to see Victoria as planned, therefore only a 2 star rating is generous for Big Bus.

I'm planning a 20 day, 7 city trip. Every time I added a city or changed times, the program would erase the dates I already entered. I had to give up and use a different application.

First look of triphobo seemed great, but after using it for sometime i found there was no consistency between the site and the app. have been trying to plan a trip Vancouver, i was able to select 7th april as my departure date in their site, but not been able to do the same thing in the ios app.
