TripHoboReviews of triphobo.com

Found it difficult to edit dates. Sometimes just want it to be simple itinaray no always need tours or bookings. So final printable is overly complex. Has good possibilities.

I booked a walking food/history tour in Minnesota. Unfortunately I had a few problems paying because TripHobo came up as a potential fraudulent charge on my credit card. I had to call my cc to verify, and then needed to rebook. My tour ended up being cancelled due to low attendance. Luckily I was able to work everything out with the actual tour company. TCFoodTours, they were fantastic, offered me another tour, and a discount for the inconvenience and handled everything internally because it was easier than trying to go through TripHobo. I may or may not use TripHobo again. The events they offer look great, but It concerns me that the site was flagged, and I found dealing with the actual tour companies to be easier. So, 3 stars.

They're okay. Love the planner but the excursions booked through TripHobo are in my experience, not always what is listed. Local partners tend to not co-operate with the listing on TripHobo. Had an experience with it in Morocco.

Good concept, but missing what I need. The site probably works great for individuals. However, when planning for a large family or group, not so much. There were no options for classiness of the hotel or the room size or type. Also, no options for 1st class on trains or planes . . . The other problem i had was once I let it fill in suggestions for what to do, it wasn't easy to undo that. I just had to start over.

I had a wonderful time on this tour and while the weather was poor and cold, the mountain was beautiful! It was convenient that we only had to buy this and our "tickets" for the cable car up and down the mountain were covered. However, although "independent" is in the title, it was unclear to us that this tour was UNGUIDED. I thought it meant that it was an independent company. We waited for a guide at the boat stop and almost missed the only boat for the next three hours, so luckily we made it on. It could've been made clearer in the description that absolutely everything is on our own. Also, it can be easy to get lost on the mountain and it was unclear what types of rides on the cable cars were covered, whether only the trip up and down or also those in between.

The excursion was well worth the money! Swimming with stingrays and sharks was the highlight of our trip! The tour guide was amazing and wanted us to have a good time. However, we did purchase the pictures and we never received them, so I would avoid wasting your money. Our hotel called them several times and they didn’t drop them off, after promising they’d do so. I even got in contact with a woman, Charlene Espiritusanto, when I got home and she gave me the run around for a few weeks before ignoring me completely.
