If I could give zero stars I would. This is my first time and probably last time. First I search for a car. Then I find one and book it. Takes my money then tells me I have to be approved by owner. Owner takes over an hour to get back to me and tells me the vehicle is not available. Why is this app taking money from a booking that isn't even available. No customer service available in chat or the phone but the automated system says I have to wait for a day for a refund. That is unacceptable and false advertising and as far as I'm concerned that's robbing me. I borrowed the money for this vehicle and not only am I not gonna make any money but I have to wait to return the money I borrowed. The vehicle owner tried to write up something in some notes that doesn't even show in the ad and tried to screenshot it. Shady business. Shady app. I will never recommend anyone use this misleading website and I will discourage anyone else from using it either. Negative stars for these liars

Prepare to keep paying for vehicles that are not available. Then wait for the refund over, and over again.

From the moment I booked the car there were issues ! The owner Gloria pushed back pick up time multiple hours due to battery issues with the car then rushed me to pick up the vehicle. The vehicle road like trash! You can tell the car was in an accident and repaired ! The horn barely worked. The car died on me and I proceeded to ask for help when she got mad and came to retrieve the car. I will be requesting a refund and pursuing legal action.

Had a rental which broke down, AC stopped working in South Florida, with 2 days left on the rental. Returned the car expecting a refund for the platform fees, insurance for the car, which the owner of the car agreed I so be given. However Trip city denied me saying that AC was not a requirement and not needed to keep me safe on the road.

Hire a decent lawyer before renting on this platform. If your experience is like mine, this platform won’t be around much longer.

This company allows companies with the most disgusting unreliable and nasty vehicles to be rented through their platform and they give you no assistance on trying to get it corrected, but they charge you all your money without a problem

The rental I had for over 2 weeks was side swiped in a hit and run outside my home. I immediately contacted the owner with pictures and an explanation. I didn’t get a response for over 6 hours and it said it was no problem to keep the car until I needed to return it. It only had paint damage on the 2 doors and after returning it I have money missing from my account and a bill for over $2000. Nothing was said that day I contacted the owner or the day I dropped the car off. And the contract I signed said nothing about paying for damages only that insurance was provided and I couldn’t use my own. How does a business steal from you with no communication during the issue or after the fact. I will be having my lawyer not only sue this scam of a company but also the business I rented from. Do not use this platform please. I have paid them over $4000 for 2 rentals so far plus I sent other people there too.

Had a rental for a month the owner raised the price by triple in the middle of my rental period and once I ended it the car tired went flat i immediately contacted the owner of the vehicle to let him know we agreed that I wouldn’t be charged and just to drop the vehicle off when I was able to get air in the tire. Successfully got the vehicle back to the owner and trip city charged my card 300$ and refuses to give my money back I have pictures of the flat tire and the conversation with the owner about not being charged. Attempting to contact trip city to resolve and the Agent disconnected the call on purpose instead of understanding the situation and trying to resolve Rent somewhere where you can trust
