DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO! They denied my cancellation and charged me! They are straight up stealing from me, when I had cancelled prior to the end of the free trial.

Avoid at all costs. I was charged wrongly when I 100% cancelled before the end of free trial. They never confirmed my cancellation, then charged me, and their policy states no refunds. Incredibly predatory subscription model, and does not honor cancellations. Also, they use inspect element to show fake flight deals in their deceptive marketing.

BE AWARE- Please be mindful that you will be charged $99 immediately after your 7-day trial. This is a very limited website that only has a few metropolitan airports to choose from. They only send you deals 3 times a week. In my opinion, this is not worth $99 for the year. You can find these deals on Travelzoo, point.me, and the points guy by signing up for their email notifications. I communicated with them regarding a refund as I was one minute shy of their cancellation policy. They would not issue a refund. Don’t be scammed!

I am filing a complaint regarding deceptive and unauthorized billing practices by Triips (with two i’s). 1. No Clear Consent I do not recall ever knowingly signing up for this service. I only realized there was a problem when I saw a charge on my account and noticed the unusual spelling (“Triips” instead of “Trips.com”). This kind of branding creates consumer confusion. 2. Unauthorized Charge A charge was processed to my account without my informed consent. I contacted the company immediately upon noticing the charge to dispute it, which demonstrates I was not aware of or agreeing to any ongoing subscription. 3. Misleading Defense by Company When I reached out, the company responded by sending me a “timeline” of account activity, including email opens, and claimed that opening their marketing emails counted as using their service. This is not valid proof of use. Marketing emails are not paid service engagement. 4. Failure to Provide Clear Terms The company has not shown that it provided me with clear, conspicuous renewal terms or obtained my affirmative consent for an automatic subscription, as required under consumer protection and automatic renewal laws. 5. Resolution Requested I am requesting: • A full refund of the charge • Written confirmation that my subscription is canceled • Assurance that no further billing attempts will occur

You are promised 2-3 deals a week, I was sent none. Complete scam and refuse to give you back your money

never sent a reminder that my trial was ending. told me to send them an email saying i confirm when creating the subscription and still couldn't access the benefits. forgot about it while i waited for them to tell me they approved my email or something and told me my account was ready. never got it. then i suddenly got charged $99 told me it was not refundable. worst part yet: i looked at the "deals" I paid $99 for... there's only like 3 and 5 expired ones or whatever. not only that, it only lets me look for departures from like two cities in my state and not even that many around the US. Furthermore, they don't do anything or give you discounts or help you book anything else, they simply use free to use skyscanner which already shows you many cheap flights and hotels and rentals etc to many more places with many more departures and all at once. All while skiplagged exists and they do the same thing but in my opinion is better. So don't waste your money or time on triips.com they are ripping you off taking your money while they do absolutely nothing. quite literally made an easy website and charge people now. no effort in automated reminders or customer service or anything!
