It's not a college classroom experience. I see a lot of reviews attempting to compare Trident to that experience. If you are a needy student, not independent or self reliant, or you suffer from a lack of confidence, this is not the place for you. Conversely, if you are an experienced adult, adept at managing your own affairs, very busy, motivated to succeed, and have a desire to complete your degree in an accredited environment, give this place a chance. My master's degree has opened doors for me. Fact.

This college in the beginning was very difficult for me, but, I managed to pull through it. The faculty was available for any and all my student concerns. I really hope that since completing my MBA I stay motivated to become a doctorate candidate, mission and God willing.

Sly, we are proud to have many of our student move from a Bachelors to a Masters and then Masters to a PhD or EdD. It is very encouraging to learn that your aspire to take your educational journey to the next level. Note to readers, online courses is a process to get familiar with and once this is mastered (usually within a few modules of a course) the remaining experience should be like Mr. House's.

My experience at Trident University was excellent. Knowledgable faculty and staff. I was able to complete my Masters program with a flexible schedule while concentrating on study. Online programs take a consistent amount of discipline and time management.

Good Program for the price. Military friendly university. They worked very well with my GI Bill.

We started a bit rough with some hard feelings that delayed me for about 4 years. Some payment issues in which the Army said they paid and Trident said they didn't and I could not continue until it got worked out (it took a year and a half for the non-payment to come to light. One class I failed because the instructor said that they did not receive my last papers. By the time I found out that he did not receive my last papers, the grade had been posted and I was not allowed to submit the papers, even though I could show that I had. My appeal was denied with little or no contact. It took 4 years for me to trust Trident again and return (and only after I learned that if I went to another college I would have to start all over). My restart went smoothly, however the degree I wanted was not offered anymore, which required more classes than I had originally been short. All of that said my final push with Trident was a very positive and challenging experience. The staff was very helpful and positive and responsive. The instructors were extremely easy to work with and responsive to questions and additional requests for assistance.

Trident is an excellent school because you aren't just memorizing facts for a test. You are constantly applying the concepts to your everyday life. I walked away not only with a degree, but actually retaining everything I studied!
