Can be great or bad
I’ve used Trico twice over the past three years. My first experience was excellent — everything was moved efficiently, nothing was damaged, and it was truly a 5/5 experience. Unfortunately, my recent move from New York to Boston was a very different experience. My TV now has a large band of dead pixels when turned on, and one of the TV leg components went missing during the move. I’m really disappointed with how things turned out and, unfortunately, won’t be using Trico again. I recognize that I could have purchased additional insurance, but I felt comfortable trusting Trico based on their FAQ, which states: “We can guarantee that nothing will get damaged during the course of moving. However, if you are concerned about the safety of your most expensive / valuable items, we recommend purchasing additional insurance.” Given this assurance, I didn’t expect to encounter these issues. That said, I wanted to share an honest review that reflects my experience with both moves. My first move with Trico was genuinely great, and I would have happily recommended them based on that experience alone. Sadly, my most recent experience has changed my opinion.
