Small business owners — PLEASE read this before you spend a single dollar with Tribrid Packaging.
I placed a $4,930 order with this company after doing everything right on my end. I ordered a sample box first (no issues). I communicated multiple times about the exact materials I needed, especially glassine single cookie bags — NOT plastic. I asked questions. I confirmed details. I covered my bases because as a small business, every dollar matters. When the actual order arrived, it was like they were a completely different company. Here’s what I received: 15% of the cookie boxes were dirty, scuffed, or marked The large paper bags had handles that ripped straight through the holes — they cannot hold ANY weight The “single cookie bags” were cheap plastic, even though we had EXPLICIT back-and-forth conversations confirming glassine Not ONE of the bags in the order is usable. Not ONE. And then came the worst part: the way they treated me. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to pretend nothing was wrong. They dismissed the photos I sent. They acted like sending plastic instead of glassine was totally acceptable. Then they offered me a 15% “solution,” which is insulting given that the majority of the order was either defective or the WRONG product entirely. This is what happens when a company has zero quality control and zero accountability, and believes small businesses won’t fight back. Let me be extremely clear: What they are doing is wrong, predatory, and harmful to small business owners who rely on honest vendors. We put our trust (and our limited budgets) in these companies. They took advantage of that trust. I have filed a formal BBB complaint and am pursuing further action. If you run a bakery, café, or any food business, protect yourself — avoid Tribrid Packaging at all costs.

Hi Melissa, We take every concern seriously, and we’re genuinely sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience. However, we do want to clarify several important points, as your review contains claims that do not accurately reflect the process or the support we provided. Before production, you approved a full specification sheet, including the exact details for the cookie bags, materials, and structure. The bags were manufactured exactly according to the specifications you signed off on, and as we explained in our email, the bags you received were glassine, not plastic. We also shared the original approved proof again when you raised your concerns. Regarding the other items, you mentioned damage and issues with handles. We immediately asked for clear photos and exact counts so we could reproduce or replace any affected units at no cost. This is our standard quality-support process, and we were ready to resolve those items quickly. Your claim that we offered only a 15% solution is also incorrect. We offered you a 30% refund as a goodwill gesture, despite the order being produced according to the specifications you approved. This was our attempt to support you and maintain a positive relationship, even though the items met the agreed standards. We absolutely do not “pretend nothing is wrong,” nor do we dismiss concerns. We work with thousands of small businesses and take pride in honesty, transparency, and accountability. Quality control is central to our work, and we always stand behind our products when issues are verified. We remain committed to resolving this fairly. If you would like to move forward with replacements for any damaged items or accept the 30% goodwill refund, our team is ready to assist. Thank you, Tribrid Packaging
