I had a terrible experience with Trekkaro due to their poor management and lack of communication.
1. Zero Communication & Mismanagement After booking, Trekkaro provided no contact details despite multiple calls and messages. I finally received a contact at 9 PM the night before my 6 AM pickup, leading to total confusion. The driver initially refused pickup, and after more calls, I was given another contact. On top of that, I had to carry my own trekking gear from Dehradun, which was extremely inconvenient. 2. Forced Trek Change & Overcharging I booked the Brahmatal Trek, but due to low participation, I was shifted to another group without consent. Trekkaro charged me ₹9,500, while the group I was placed in cost only ₹6,000, effectively scamming me out of ₹3,500. 3. Horrible Alternative Trek Experience The replacement trek was even worse—one trek leader got into a physical fight, and another was smoking weed throughout the trek. Trekkaro is highly unprofessional and completely unreliable. Avoid them at all costs!
