They were amazing and very helpful even when we had to make last min changes they were able to help!! We had some flight issues and they quickly adjusted out schedule to give us a great time I will definitely use them again!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Private Transportation & Mt. Fuji Experience! We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Travel Tides during our trip to Japan and highly recommend them. We used Travel Tides for two different services. First, they arranged a private driver to pick us up directly at the Tokyo cruise port and take us to our hotel. The driver was prompt, professional, and made the transfer completely effortless after getting off the ship. Three days later, Travel Tides arranged an incredible 10-hour private chauffeured tour from Tokyo Bay to the Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko area in a luxury Toyota Alphard. This ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan. Our driver, Pecky, was AMAZING! She was extremely professional, experienced, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the Mt. Fuji area. Having a private driver gave us the flexibility to enjoy the day at our own pace without ever feeling rushed. We visited the beautiful Chureito Pagoda at Arakurayama Sengen Park, followed by Lake Kawaguchiko, where we took an exhilarating private speedboat ride across the lake with spectacular views of Mt. Fuji. We then rode the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, enjoyed a wonderful authentic Japanese lunch, and finished the day at Oishi Park, where we had ice cream and enjoyed one final view of Mt. Fuji framed by the park’s gorgeous, colorful flower landscape. It was a perfect ending to an unforgettable day. The luxury Alphard was extremely comfortable for such a long excursion, and Pecky made the entire 10-hour journey enjoyable from beginning to end. Most importantly, both Travel Tides drivers were prompt, professional, and dependable, and the entire experience was seamless. When you’re traveling internationally, having transportation you can truly rely on makes a tremendous difference. We would absolutely use Travel Tides again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Tokyo or looking for a private chauffeured Mt. Fuji experience. Five stars all the way! 🇯🇵🗻

We have now returned from our holiday on 06/10/2026. Unfortunately we experienced difficulties in how TravelTides dealt with 3 issues we experienced during our holidays regarding whether the hotel rooms and breakfasts were paid to the hotel. (1) When the hotels contended that breakfast was not included as stated, or payment for our rooms had bounced, TravelTides (a) would not speak to us on our UK phone and corresponded only by whats app messages, (b) would not pay as asked by the hotel and insisted that we pay to the hotel again and be refunded later by the hotels or TravelTides. At one hotel, we argued for 1 hour for breakfast until hotel manager came in at 9:30 in the morning, argued and waited 2 hours before being able to check in at 11pm at night, but only after we gave our credit card details to the hotel. (2) TravelTides book hotel rooms through booking platforms; their employees that we contacted would not answer repeated calls by us and only corresponded by messages; their employees are not able to make any payments to the hotel as all hotel bookings are through booking platforms which are not open 24-7 to sort out whether payments have been made or not. (3) TravelTides issues booking confirmations from hotels and regards this as proof that hotels have been booked and paid. But these are cancellable bookings and when the hotels attempt to collect the agreed amounts before the check-in dates it is possible that payment may have bounced. Understand that hotel booking confirmations is not proof that payment has been made to the hotels as agreed or that the payment has not bounced. (4) The chauffer driven car and chauffer work independently from Travel Tides. Our driver (Liane) was absolutely amazing. You could not ask for more. (5) We are now waiting for our compensations to be sorted out.

Had a wonderful experience with this company, drivers were always on time and recommended places that worth visiting. Only had 6 days to tour Tokyo and I’m very sure when I come back I will use the same company again. The only negative thing I would say or any customer to be aware of, if the journey is 2 hours away from hotel, plan to travel 3 hours back to hotel to count for traffic because the overtime charge is a little pricy. Overall highly recommended

Luna has really been a great help since I got to Japan. At a point I got nervous and anxious but she walked me through every step of the way and I thank her for that. I highly recommend her . Thank you again Ms Luna

It's the convenience of not going thru the hassles of booking for the fligths, hotels, tour guide and airport pickups Also never have to worry about buying for tickets for the entrance on various parks. And the agents was able to switch our schedule during trump's visit at the last minute. We also have a tour guides for the most part. Thanks again! Annie
