The site was easy to navigate. I got a good price on a flight for my wife and I. A few hours later I got a call that the airline would not honor the price and there would be an increase. I paid for the increase. This was a classic bait and switch. Then I got a call back saying I could upgrade to first class for a couple hundred dollars and he would get back, but in the mean time please provide an excellent review. He never called back, another deception.

I purchased tickets or at least I thought for one advertised price and then later that night I was called and informed that they weren’t able to get me that price. The price was over $300 more than the advertised price. I was very unhappy with this, however the representative, David Wilson, talked to me and remained calm and showed me that the cost was still much lower than on any other site. He was able to secure the new price for me and assured that he would always get me the best deal possible moving forward. If not for him, I would never do business with this company again.

Offered one price on website, then they pitched me a far worse flight (w/ over night layover) for the bait price or an upsell on the switch to a reasonable flight. I feel very bad about the way this went down. David Wilson is the only reason I'm not posting a 1 star on this review as he was nice and considerate. Though he tried to sell me hard, he ultimately refunded me the fees as I requested.

I just tried to book tickets on travelouts. I put my credit card info in, but instead of running my card they sent me an email saying my trip wasn't confirmed. They kept asking me to call them, but when i did (from Europe) I got a recorded message in a strange language, and definitely it was not a help center. They never charged my card, but overall it wasn't a good experience. And, going through the reviews here its obvious they have put a bunch of cookie cutter fake reviews.

Travelouts was easy to deal with, and I booked tickets through them. However, they did NOT advise me that booking with Frontier Airlines did NOT include seat assignment (costs extra) and any carry-on or checked baggage (again, extra costs). By the time the extra costs were factored in, it was more than the other airline options. So I ended up cancelling the Frontier leg of my journal and booked American Airlines instead. I got a "travel credit" with Frontier (which I haven't seen and probably will never use because of the extra fees). Overall I got what I needed, but it took extra time and cost.

Charged me more than the quoted price. Had to wait a day to get tickets after paying increased price.
