Trip of a Lifetime for myself and my Family! We felt so taken care of by Samer and Ezz our driver. It was a relief to us while navigating the airport and Samer’s caring and relaxed disposition was a comfort. Iman was our guide while in Cairo and the absolute best! Her passion for history and the preservation of these artifacts was felt by all of us. Every detail was seen to and we will never forget our time spent in Egypt.

From the beginning to end, Travelous was top notch! Everything ran smoothly, from guides, excellent accommodations to daily guided trips. We went to Nepal, Bhutan and Thailand and enjoyed every minute. No reason to look further.

The whole trip was fantastic. The guides, Samah and Hisham, were incredibly knowledgable and excellent at explaining the history of the sites. Ayman, the Cairo Airport rep, took care of everything and was a pleasure to be with. The drivers, especially Ezz, were amazing. The hotels were incredible as was the cruise ship and staff. The walking trip through the Nubian village and visit to the coffee maker was a great addition. The app was also very helpful for easy access to the itinerary, names of all the guides and drivers, Well done Travelous!

The tour designed for us by Travelous really made our trip one we shall never forget. The guides knowledge really showed us the Egypt that all should experience. Four of us have just returned from a 21 day journey through Egypt and Jordan, arranged and orchestrated by Travelous. It was one of the most interesting and rewarding travel experiences I have participated in Why? 1. Trip preparation Our initial contact was with Chris Brazos. Chris through a series of e-mails and phone calls reviewed our requests providing pros and cons for each item. Where possible, alternative options/solutions for things that would have been difficult to deliver given time constraints, were provided. The end result was a carefully crafted itinerary that ticked almost all the boxes for requests made by us. 2. The itinerary went off without a hitch. Accommodation and restaurants were excellent. Pick ups and visit to sites was on time every day. Some flexibility was required eg GEM still not open but adjustments were made and everything worked out well. 3. People on the ground. The group of people that Travelous works with are amazing. They are very professional, calm and reassuring as well as very personable. The airport assistance, the drivers and most importantly the guides were superb. Compliments to Samer, Hanah and Samah in Cairo, Tarik in Luxor and Aswan, Mohammed in Abu Simbel and Anas in Jordan. So good! Minor cons. The time in Abu Simbel is rushed due airline scheduling. Don’t know what if any other options exist to make this more relaxing. The drive from Luxor to Aswan with stops at temples and lunch at The Mud House is a long day. However the stop at the Mud House is a must. As Chris said “it will be the best meal you’ll have in Egypt” and it was. So much to see and do and so little time to do it all. Thank you Travelous for your caring approach to seeing the world.
