Every detail was planned to perfection! Our guides were the most amazing, profoundly brilliant, caring teachers! The drivers were wonderful attentive and kind! Our airport Reps were so helpful and knowledgeable! Every person we encountered made us feel so very cared for! This was the trip of a lifetime and I can’t imagine doing it any other way! They made every moment so perfect! We felt like VIPS at every point! Hotels were first class! Restaurants were amazing! Nothing but rave reviews!!!

5-star trip to Egypt and Jordan! Read the numerous other reviews about Travelous here on Trustpilot and you'll get a good sense of the company's approach to travel to these two countries. Very busy itineraries, end-to-end coordination of travel details, high-end accommodations, and the opportunity to customize the travel as desired. There is so much to see and do in Egypt, particularly, that it's easy to place your trust in the company and jump blindly into what they suggest (and honestly if you do you'll be very happy), but you can really fine-tune the trip if you do some research beforehand and know exactly what you want (and don't want) to see. Travelous is eager to set up the trip you want, and the on-site guides aren't afraid to adjust things on the fly. Samer, the airport facilitator in Cairo, was an unexpected godsend who made our transition from Egypt to Jordan easy, despite a significant Egyptair flight delay and the need to change terminals in Cairo. Hanan and Lamey, our guides in Cairo and Luxor, were outstanding. Wadi Rum, in southern Jordan, turned out to be unexpectedly stunning (watch Lawrence of Arabia and/or The Martian before you go).

Our trip to Egypt was perfect- expert guides, drivers and airport reps. Our guides took us into tombs that others didn’t get to see, we had lunch in a private home with an Egyptian family, we had Nubian coffee made the old way, by a Nubian man, on the banks of the Nile. Everything went so smoothly. The timing was perfect too …our guides had us in temples, pyramids and tombs without crowds. I will use Travelous in the future and I have advised friends and family to do the same. Chris Bazos made all the arrangements for us. Our guides were Noha and Atef.

The guides, the airport reps and the drivers were all amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate all our wishes. They made our bucket list birthday trip truly a memorable experience for once in a lifetime tour. All the guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. From start to finish, our experience was wonderful. Johanna was an excellent resource and partner as she designed the trip to meet our every desire. She listened to our wishlist and then went about securing every detail for us. She was always responsive, always available, always willing to help. She took such personal interest in our trip! The team in Argentina-from the office staff, to the drivers, to the guides—was professional, courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and caring. Our entire trip was a dream come true!

Customer service was great from beginning to end. Travelous' service was VERY accommodating and they worked on details and iterations of the itinerary and hotel accommodations with great patience and good spirit. They uploaded all the details and documents we needed on the phone app and their phone concierge service 24/7 was tremendously helpful! The private tours Travelous set up and their contacts and people on the ground were really First Class! So very nice, educated and helpful and really added to the experience. Safe transportation always. We took a trip north to south through Portugal and the population we encountered were really sweet, kind and lovely. Country is gorgeous, food and wine really good. Be careful of the well worn cobblestone streets on hill inclines (a lot are limestone) and make sure you bring good sticky sneakers. Another helpful "heads up" - as of 2023 there is alot of Metro construction in downtown Porto, so check your hotel locations if that might disturb you. We knew ahead of time and found a hotel that we could walk to downtown in 3 minutes but was away from that. Travelous is a good partner, especially in this difficult & congested travel era. So glad we found them!
