Travelocity's Misrepresented hotel nightmare
My friend and I booked a vac pkg , The hotel : The Radisson of Hauppauge was a Nightmare from the moment we were instructed to park in the back lot, there were 3 drunk/drugged men sitting on the curb by the door that didn't require a card key, it was open all day and night. as we entered the hotel ,the rugs in the hallways looked as though they have never been cleaned. When we finally entered the room, it was hot and the AC didn't work, I immediately contacted the front desk to have the room changed, and asked if room service was still working , we were traveling all day and it was 11:30 pm and was told they don't have room service at all but Travelocity's site said it did.The . second rooms toilet didn't flush and the room was definitely not a 3.5 star hotel Travelocity's site said it was. I came to find out that The Radisson has it listed as a2.2 star hotel , so Travelocity misrepresented this hotel on there site. after having the issue with the toilet, cleanliness ,and the security of this hotel I contacted Travelocity at 1:30 in the morning requesting a relocation to another hotel, they refused and offered a coupon of $100 on our next booking. Travelocity misrepresented this hotel by also saying there was a champagne service, there was none, also there was supposed to be a restaurant that was all day , there was none . oh also the water in the room didn't work for a period of time . I would never book anything from travelocity if I were you. actually they should get no stars!!
