Chose this Tour because was convenient to allow us to go to a town of our choice Winchester, rather than the standards Windsor and Stonehenge that we had already been to. Lovely town recommend this stop and perfect to pass some time in between so served its purpose. However Driver was on personal calls while driving the whole time and had sweater up blocking view from back seat Not allowed in our country and thought it was not appropriate. Would have been nice to have some music playing or to have engaging conversation.

We had a day to kill before our flight home. I thought it would be great to arrange a personal tour. We recieved a driver who drove us wherever we wanted to go but was not a ‘tour guide’ abd could not make suggestions for us. He was a lovely man and our bags were safe for 6 hours while we shopped and ate. It was an expensive day that would have been worth the money if the driver was more of an interactive guide

We booked a London hotel and Abba Voyage package. On checking the details we were down to see the afternoon Abba show on Saturday. The hotel was for 2 nights (Thursday and Friday) so we were travelling home on Saturday. Contacted them to see if we could change the hotel to Friday/saturday night. We were told to contact hotel direct which we did but were told cos we had booked through a third party we had to go through them. Emails went back and forth between us but didn't get anywhere so decided to book another night at the hotel direct. Also the time given for the coach and show didn't tie together so we queried this but again couldn't get a proper response. So on the day of the show we arrived for our coach transport at 4pm to be told we were early and the coach wouldn't leave til 5.45 (this was the time they gave us for the show) so had to hang around nearly 2 hours before coach left. We actually saw the evening show. The coach transfer there and back however was excellent. Overall the dates and times of hotel and show provided didn't coincide so we had to pay for a third night at hotel and the time of coach pick up and show were incorrect. This caused us to be very stressed before and during our trip. We won't use this Company again due to their incompetence

First, we got where we needed to be without incident. Understand that TravelCompendium is a virtual company that books independent vendors for services. They communicated only by email often on a next day basis. Try to find a phone number on their website (or address)... Our transfer bus driver did just that, he had no plan and had never done our trip relying on his phone. When we got to Stonehenge, he asked the bus how long do you want to stay. I used TC to reduce my anxiety, instead they created more.

The first driver that picked us up was great. He took us to the tour bus that would take us to Stonehenge. That driver, was just a driver. No personality. No insights or comments on our tour. What was very disappointing was even though we had already paid for our ticket through the tour, when we arrived our entire bus wasted 25 precious chaotic minutes because we had to make another line to get our tickets. All the other tour groups had been given their ticket/wristbands by their driver. So we only had 30min to see Stonehenge and No time to see all the other things that were available at the sight ….I would book a different tour next time because of this.

Driver never showed. Had to use a cab instead. No response on a refund. Update: Cab fare refunded. Although it took some time, Travel Compendium made good on their contract with me.

Bus was very late. No communication from anyone.

We paid for a tour to Stonehenge that included a bus to take us there and returned. It also included a device with a guided information during the whole trip, we were 4, only 1 device worked, and even though the driver changed the devices as we got there, and it worked only on Stonehenge, we missed the comments during the 2 hours road. Also the driver only gave us 2 hours to return to the bus, and it took us 45 minutes to walk to the stones.. we had to do the circle practically running in order to be back to the bus in time or else it would leave.. Not recommended. Better go on your own and get to spend more time there.
