Do NOT buy trip insurance from Aon (Expedia). Our fight got cancelled and the airline said that we had to contact Aon to file a claim. Our claim got denied so we are out a few hundred bucks. Save your money and skip the trip insurance.

Gives you the impression that you're covered when you're not. Unless you read through everything you'll be unpleasantly surprised when you try to file a claim.

We booked a trip to the Dominican Republic in February 2019. In March 2019, I was experiencing some strange headaches and other symptoms and went to my PCP who then referred me to Cleveland Clinic Neurology. I saw a neurologist in Cleveland in May 2019, and he ordered an MRI scan which was performed in June 2019. Later in June, because I was continuing to feel ill and had other strange symptoms, we canceled our vacation. We purchased Aon Trip Insurance at the time of booking. All paperwork was completed and submitted for reimbursement. Aon adjusters state I have a "pre-existing condition" and will not reimburse almost $2,000 for our trip. DO NOT use this travel insurance company- they will not honor your claim. If this particular situation is not eligible for reimbursement, I'm not sure what is. This is a scam company.

Web site is the poorest I have ever used. Directions, wording it confusing as what to enter, changing passwords does not work, request for email address changes did not occur.

I would give No stars if it was an option. TERRIBLE company and review process. We got it for my grandmother as she had been a bit sick, she had cancer, it spread everywhere and was in the hospital a month before the cruise so for her health she couldn't go. After we got back she got more sick and passed away the following month. They said "our cancellation was due to our dissatisfaction with carnival cruise line" Not the fact she was too sick to go that she Actually DIED a month after. Because she died we couldnt get a health provider statment becuase was Wasn't Alive to sign the release form. This is a Scam and terrible company. They DO NOT care about their customers. Not to mention there was like 12 of us going and only she couldn't go, so it makes No sense to say we were dissatisfied with carnival.

Terrible, don't use them...total waste and a scam. And I never write reviews.

The worst Travel Insurance company.

AON travel insurance from Cruises.com (aka LeisureCare) is the worst, scam ever. There is documentation online about what is and is not covered, but nothing shared. And even the available information about what is covered, turns out is all BS. My flight was cancelled on the way to Miami. There were no flights going out the entire day. I had no chance of meeting the ship in Florida or any port. They say they will cover you to get to the next port, but only for $200 per flight. Ridiculous, one way tickets, day of to the Caribbean from NY is $1000s. Which left me high and dry - no cruise, and their refusal to pay the claim. I am out $3000 and they say it's not their problem. DO NOT WASTE your money on this insurance. Find another or book thru the cruise directly and get their insurance. This is such a head and heartache. I can't say enough horrible things about this crap insurance company.
