Terrible company, terrible service, they will stall and look for excuses not to pay

My husband and I were scheduled on a 15-day cruise on October 24 in Quebec City, Canada. Unfortunately, one and a half weeks before we were to go on the cruise, my husband became very ill. To make a long story shorter...he passed away on October 26 (we would have been on the ship for 2 days). I filed for a return of my money through Princess and AON Travel. Princess immediately posted all my excursion fees and $603.22 (which they said was the room fee from them). Since we paid $2949.50 (not including $1089 for the excursions) for the trip, this left $2346.28 not returned to us. I just got notification they will send me a check for $1104.10. That means the insurance company KEPT $1242.18 from a widow who could not go on the trip because her husband died 2 days into the cruise....I cancelled the trip about a week before we were to leave. I would NEVER use this company again. They are unscrupulous! Go to another travel company...I am a platinum level on Carnival so I have been on a lot of cruises. Princess was good; they refunded their part of the money immediately...but this insurance company is a leech!

1 star is 1 too many. This insurance is nothing but a joke. It took them 6 weeks to deny a perfectly legitimate claim. Never, never, buy this insurance. You’d have a better chance of a return if you threw your money out the window of an airplane at 30,000 feet. Disgusted.

I am simply amazed. On January 28, I booked flights from Charlotte, North Carolina to New York City for my wife and myself, our son, daughter in law, and two grandchildren. The trip is scheduled for December. In October, our son, who is a member of the North Carolina Air National Guard, was involuntarily deployed for six months to Sicily as part of a joint services operation. Because he will be away serving our country, we canceled his flight and filed for reimbursement through Aon Travel Insurance. I was notified today that my claim has been denied because it does not fall within the parameters of the policy. If he were subponaed to jury duty, we would have been reimbursed. However, we will not be reimbursed due to his serving our country. A reservist who is deployed is guaranteed by law that his job standing will be protected. Aon does not give the same kind of courtesy to one who places himself in harm's way for the country he serves. This is just sad. My wife and I travel a great deal, and we always purchase travel insurance. This company will never again have to worry about our utilizing their service.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. Do not waste your money purchasing the insurance. We were not able to board the ship after I had been in contact with Carnival for days before we arrived to ensure everything was correct. Aon denied my claim. $1,042 down the drain. I wish I would’ve kept my money for the insurance protection. Never again will I purchase this insurance!

This is the most thief company that can be known, it only serves to charge you, travel with princess and buy a protection plan with this company, my suitcase was lost and I sent them all the documentation including that of the ship explaining that the suitcase was lost in the muell, after 4 months they paid me nothing, they are thieves

Scam...nothing but exclusions..."cancel for any reason" = 48 hours before only...you will not speak with anyone--conducted thru email. Otherwise, you better be in the hospital under doctors care....

I planned a trip for my Forster son birthday which is going to be in March 2020 to Walt Disney I was told from the representative that I should get insurance for the trip in case I had to cancel the trip sure enough acs didn’t approve for him to go do to a lot of paper work and stuff that had to be done also he will be adopted by me soon if god willing remind you he’s turning 5 I had him since he was 2 months anyway I call Disney to cancel they tell me I had to contact this fraudulent place I asked them why when I gave you my money I contacted them someone told me that I needed to file a claim for my money I been saving just to make my son birthday magical I’m like wait my insurance was only $175 so shouldn’t that be my penalty he asked do he have any medical issues I replied yes he’s autistic he said I should take him to the doctor and get a letter from his doctor and what should the doctor say he can’t go due to his medical issues of him being autistic wouldn’t that be a lie there is nothing wrong he just can’t go due to the court system and acs basically he wanted me to get the doctor to lie say he injured him self I wouldn’t dare ask the doctor to lie remind you I already put $1500 on the trip September 24 it is only the 11th I was going to pay the trip full amount as of next week instead I have to fight for my money Christmas is around the corner and I could have used that money for something else you people from aon are crooked you want to keep my money for what I hope none ever deal with you 😢crooks again I know better now and I will make it up to my baby one day whoever is reading this do not deal with them give me back my money😤😤😤
