I wish someone would organize a class action suit against these sleaze bags! I had a cruise canceled by Norwegian due to the Coronavirus outbreak. I had travel insurance through AON. They denied my claim to reimburse the trip insurance because the cruise line canceling your trip is not a qualified reason to collect on their insurance. Are you serious?? You have trip cancellation insurance, but the cruise line cancelling your trip is not a reason to collect?? This is as sleazy as an insurance company can be, and that is saying something. I pray for a class action suit against these criminals.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing this insurance. I purchased this insurance as part of my package with Carnival. I would have never purchased this insurance if I had read these reviews.. We were totally ripped off. I purchased "trip cancellation insurance." Due to Covid-19, our trip was cancelled. I submitted my claim . It took several months to respond to us declining payment. I resubmitted for review and was denied again. It's unfortunate that this company is still allowed to do business. I will contact Carnival in hopes that they will stop recommending this company. Awful!! Totally take advantage of you.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing this insurance. I purchased this insurance as part of my package with Expedia. I would have never purchased this insurance. We were totally ripped off. I purchased "trip cancellation insurance." Due to Covid-19, our flight and trip were cancelled. I submitted my claim in April 2020. It took until August 10 to respond to us declining payment. I will "never, ever" use this company again. It's unfortunate that this company is still allowed to do business. I will contact Expedia in hopes that they will stop recommending this company. Awful!! Totally take advantage of you if there is an incident! It's like playing Russian Roulette with the customer as the definite target/loser!

I can not find the words to adequately describe what a terrible company this is. They are thrives! Stealing people's hard earned money. Promising INSUREDS Travel Insurance coverage that they, in reality, plan on never paying. Aon travel insurance is a fraud and should be investigated by the FBI and should be held accountable for the millions of dollars they steal from hard working people. Their "BookSafe" travel protection plan is a fraud and illegal! Aon pays out less than 1% of covered claims per year. They have been reported to the BBB and yet, they are still in business! They make promises they never intend on keeping! DO NOT purchase travel insurance from Aon! If you have to file a claim they will never cover it!! NEVER!

AON should be ashamed of themselves. We purchased travel insurance through Disney for our trip to Disney World in Aug 2020. The vacation and insurance was bought before the pandemic. The flight tickets were purchased directly from the airline, but covered by the insurance. PA mandated a 14-day quarantine for when you return from Florida. We could not do that because we have jobs to go to, so the trip was cancelled because of the quarantine....one of the reasons listed in their policy for a refund. No details are given about the quarantine, just “quarantine”. AON denied the claim for the tickets because the quarantine would take place after the trip. But I wouldn’t have to quarantine if I didn’t take the trip. Luckily, Disney refunded their portion of the trip because they have some ethics and morals. AON Affinity is a SCAM!!! Stay far away!

Cancelled a trip after I was given the news that my mother had only three months to live and my trip would have fallen within that time. Called cancelled with cruise line and immediately started the claim with AON insurance. My mom passed two weeks before the trip was scheduled...submitted the information to the best of my ability along with death certificate which should be more than enough to approve the claim. Still after emails,and phone calls I'm getting pushed around with NO real resolution. Save yourself the aggravation and in my case mourning the loss of a love one and having to constantly tell the story over and over again. I will NEVER buy travel insurance again.

They are thieves. Find travel insurance elsewhere. They refuse to refund my travel insurance for a trip the travel company cancelled. Do not use CruiseOnly and do not waste your money on this company. They have altered their policy to provide this coverage "free" on my next travel. It's not free, clearly. They are over-leveraged and cash poor. They cannot afford refunding our petty $425 dollars.

Purchased ION trip insurance “cancel for any reason” which covered “travel companion becomes medically ill unable to travel.” when booked a Uniworld River Cruise. AON Affinity Paid companion’s claim, denied mine.
