I have filed a claim over a month ago it is still in the assigned an agent status. They do not respond to emails. I called and was told it takes 15 days to review it has been 28 days and nothing has changed. Do not waste your money.

Total Junk F- I paid $134.00 for a trip through Expedia and had to have insurance due to work and family complications. I filed a claim to try and reimburse the $200.00 Spirit Airline cancellation fee and AON is doing absolute nothing to help. Terrible to deal with. Less than 1 star is accurate.

we have booked a trip for Europe Dec 2020 - but due to Covid it was postponed to Dec 2021. In October my husband was in the hospital and was told h could not go to Europe as he would need heart surgery. So I contacted the insurance co. who refused to help over the phone. Finally I got some girl who started the claim and sent me the paperwork to complete. I heard nothing - every so often I would check and they would email back saying 15 days. Turns out the 2021 trip was also postponed. And our travel agent said Trafalgar was giving us a full credit. I contacted the insurance co to tell them to stop the claim. I got a generated email back saying someone would contact me in 2 business days. That was Jan 5 2022. It is now Feb 23 2022 amd I am trying to usemy credit and the insurance co has not dropped the claim - yet they have not refunded my money. I would never use them again - I'd buy private insurance.

very poor communications, They don't email, text or call about any status or outcome of a claim. They just don't care. They take our money then run.

If there was someway to give zero stars I would. I have my car insurance at AON. I was supposed to be covered for All emergency and all possible kinds of accidents. All it took was a break in in my car to show me how this company works. False information, own expenses, lost of 2 days of trying to get tough to the right department, endless waiting, bad customer services (they even hang up on you!) and I could go on. I had the feeling that I as a customer was the enemy that AON needed to fight - for an amount under 1000 euro. What a disappointment this company is!

I bought travel insurance for my daughter prior to an outdoor leadership trip in Alaska with NOLS. She fell and broke her wrist and needed evacuation from a glacier and 1/3 of her trip was cancelled. AON makes it very easy to buy the insurance, but makes it very difficult to submit a claim (the software for uploading doesn't work so we needed to call and submit personal documents via unsecured email). It really took an extraordinary effort to get the proper paperwork through the obstacles created by the claims team. AON then took months to process it and finally send a check for a fraction of the amount owed without explanation of denied benefits. We made multiple requests an explanation but the claims department does not respond to email. Many people will simply give up. It takes way too much effort. This is pretty darn sad. After threatening to alert the insurance commission, they finally paid up and said it was an "oversight". I suspect it is more likely "business as usual". I will never buy this insurance again

It is scam, everything that they offer to cover they really don't. They are making false advertising,they have a fine print with excuses to avoid to pay a claim for everything. I have to canceled my trip due medical reasons, I present the doctor letter and they still rejected my claim.You can't trust them at all, I don't understand why Expedia is working with them .I fell betrayed and cheated

They lie. They tell you "any reason" protection but then they don't pay. My next step is to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I'll be smarter the next time.
