I had to wait four months to settle my claim. Their service is deplorable. I finally told the representative that I was ready to contact my state Insurance Commissioner. Four days later they settled. Coincidence? I doubt it. I will never do business with this company again.

After 6 weeks my claim was submitted, AON denied. My oncologist strongly advised me to not expose myself to Covid with cases on all 94 cruise ships sailing in American waters right now. All necessary medical proof was submitted. I have cancer in remission. Watching the increasing number of cases on cruise ships investigated by the CDC the cruise would have represented danger of contagion for me. Our friends who went, stated that there were sick people on board and they saw people guided of the ship by medical staff in protective gear. Our friends ended up being infected with Covid on the ship as well. We signed up with AON travel insurance through our trip adviser. We paid 15 thousand dollars for our trip to Alaska for my husband and myself. We have not gotten one penny back. The case will go to our lawyer. BEWARE of AON!

Booked this at recommendation of travel agent for CELEBRITY cruise. Submitted claim March 5,2022 after numerous calls, emails still no settlement. Waste of money. Buyer beware

AON is affiliated with Princess Cruises. Both companies have an illegal racket going on where they claim they are selling you refundable airline tickets if huge delays where you do not return until the next day occur. In reality AON and Princess Cruises never refund you after you fill out many forms, provide pdf documents and pdf receipts for your delay. We bought Air Canada return airplane tickets through Princess Cruises from FCO Rome to FLL Ft Lauderdale. Air Canada contacted me about six hours prior to our return flight to let us know a morning flight was delayed until late afternoon. This flight went through Toronto Canada where we had to change planes. However we would arrive so late in Toronto that we would miss our connecting flight and causing us to have to spend the night in Toronto. Air Canada also could not tell us when our flight would leave the next day but thought it might leave the evening of the next day. This was a over a 24 hour delay if Air Canada could get us on the Toronto to FLL flight for next day. As a result, I purchased Delta tickets so we could get home in the date we were suppose to get home. I confirmed with the Air Canada agent on the telephone that we had totally refundable tickets because of the delay. The Air Canada agent gave me an adelay # that confirmed our totally refundable airline ticket. So I contacted Princess Cruises ( I purchased airfare through Princess Cruises) because Air Canada advised me that this was the business that would completely refund me for two return tickets. I wrote 10 emails to Princess Cruises with all necessary documents. Finally they sent me the link for AON and I filled out all necessary forms, provided all pdf receipts and documents plus the adelay number that air Canada gave me for my guaranteed refund. This was one month ago. I never heard back from AON even though I sent 10 separate emails with all forms etc filled out. Then I contacted our Princess Cruise person again, Jerrilyn, whom I bought my plane ticket from and she gave me a Princess Cruise customer service link and tel. I contacted this email link 10 times and called numerous times without being connected ever to a human being. Customers should never buy plane tickets through Princess Cruises- it’s a lie- they do not refund you even though you keep sending all the correct documents. If I had gone directly through the airlines this would not have happened. I lost all respect for Princess Cruises because they are a dishonest company running an illegal racket to rip off unsuspecting customers on “refundable plane tickets.” Princess Cruises encouraged me to buy my plane tickets through a princess because they said they stand by there plane tickets if any huge delays occur. So Princess Cruises lied. Perhaps a big lawsuit with all the angry customers they ripped off might encourage Princess Cruises and AON trip insurance to refund rightful customers? Princess Cruises lacks integrity and does not assist in any way to refund plane tickets that are refundable. I do not recommend spending your hard earned cash on AON or Princess Cruises.They will not stand by the product they sell you.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They are slow as molasses with claims. This makes no sense. I will be using another company going forward.

Been waiting since January for a refund for a vacation that was cancelled. After countless phone calls and emails, they finally sent me a refund check, THAT BOUNCED!!!!!!!! Back on hold with people in other countries, no one can help me, HOURS on hold. and NOTHING. THEY ARE USELESS! Totally FRAUDS!!!!

Very very poor customer service and extremely long wait time to receive a refund. Horrific!!!

We had a RCCL cruise for 6/3/22. We didn't make it. My spouse didn't feel well though and a day or two later tested positive for Covid. We were flat out denied a reimbursement for anything, not a dollar after we spent over $3000. They will not help you!!! Absolutely worst experience ever. Why would RCCL use them. Even the airlines wouldn't take your money. JetBlue gave a full reimbursement to travel when we were well. Run from this insurance it is a scam!
