At age 80 trip insurance is a no brainer. My wife and I planned to fly from Atlanta to Seattle in Mid-June 2018 and do the Alaska cruise that our friends have raved about. My wife suddenly began experiencing wild fluctuations in her blood pressure and pulse rate, and after four ER visits and cardiologist exams, we reluctantly cancelled our plans a week before schedule embarkation. Our claim was submitted in mid July, and insurance reimbursement checks arrived in today's mail. I was expecting some difficulty as many of the "reviews" seemed disparaging, but our experience was strongly positive and I am very comfortable recommending this trip protection plan to vacationers
