Boxes are pretty small and very hit or miss in taste. Some, like Japan were fantastic. Some, like Latin America were flat out terrible. All in all very cool idea, glad it was given to me as a gift. Ine suggestion and it may be on there and the lerson just missed it is let people opt out of certain products like chocolate etc.

Product is great, with a wonderful curation, but there are hiccups. Their shipping promise (7th of each month) is entirely false. They generate shipping labels that day but often don't ship for 4 or 5 days later (very frustrating to watch the package through tracking just sit there for the better part of a week). Also, while the curation is lovely, we have received our package at times when the digital links to music were not live yet. Kind of a bummer when you sit down to sample the products but can't enjoy the whole experience. I would recommend to someone I knew but with some hesitation.

Thank you for your honest review about our service. You are right about us unable to meet our said shipping window on the 7th, since last couple of months, we've been doing 10th. We are trying to improve our inbound shipments to allow us to get back for the 7th. Also regarding shipping, the entire process with printing labels, fulfillment and carrier pickups takes about 5 days.. the shipping department prints labels early on in the process. We will try to improve this timeline as well. Same is true for our digital links. We are in the process of improving the processes in order to serve you better. Please allow us a few weeks. Most of it was bland .it didn't come with a packing list or any information. Idk if italians eat really boring foods or if topmunch just sends that sort of thing. Not really the fun experience I was hoping for.

From our experience, we try to include snacks that would be enjoyed by most people, but there are times when some of our customers do not enjoy all the snacks - since everybody has a different taste preference. Our Monthly Cultural box comes with an insert which consists of details of the snacks included. For all other boxes, we will strive to ensure to also include a packing list/information of the snacks with every box. I love getting my top munch boxes! However, I’ve become confused because I thought it automatically sends you one once a month, and just takes the $30 out of your account. Well I have gotten an India one recently. But a lot of the reviews are saying this month was Japan? And it isn’t telling me when I get my next one. I hope someone can help me out cuz I would love to continue getting these!

Hello Meg, Thank you for taking time to review your experience with TopMunch and sharing your concern. When customers first signup for a monthly subscription, the first box they receive could be from the current or the past month depending on the factors like signup date. Sometimes our crew feels that given a choice they should send the best of the options they have. In your case it was Japan vs India. Our India box had received a lot of positive reviews from our customers and it was our very best box full of treats weighing 3.25 lbs. I am sure this is only a first time signup hiccup and you will not have to worry about it in future as the boxes follow a set schedule. The next box you will receive will skip Japan and directly go onto the December Christmas box. Again, this is only a first time signup hiccup. We will basically put you on regular schedule from the 2nd box (in your case December box). From our side we will try to make it more transparent to the customer as to which box they will receive as the first one. Hope it answer the questions. I would enjoy more sweet treats. I would respect if the boxes were for diabetics and these would be great assortments if someone is. I've received 4 boxes to date and may move on if my next one is mainly packed with cracker like items.

Everything except the puff pastry was good. I think the pastry was way too sweet for me. Other than that, it was a good package!
