This is my review about Date you.com been on this site now for a few weeks wanted to do my own investigation of the site having read some negative reviews about it, chatting to three girls on the site for about a week thought I was making friends. Saga Dating UK website ('allegedly' exclusive for 50+) ... The long and the short of it: If you are an intelligent woman over 50 --- don't, just don't. As a paid member of Saga (intelligent, quirky and quite attractive may I ad) I took out the 1 month trial subscription for just under £35) I perused the site for over 2 weeks now and here are the statistics thus far: > I had 218 profile views - 2 mutual likes... 2 messages ... that's it.... The issue with Saga seems to be more a technical/search criteria/AI one, as their membership base is said to be for exclusively over 50s ... which it is not, plenty of profiles from 40+ on there 1) The time wasting (and it is cranked up to an extreme on this site) is aggravated by showing profiles that have been dormant for 6 months+ consistently in search results 2) Blocked profiles (I tested this) still re-appear in search and match suggestions over and over again 3) A bewildering nearly complete absence 😬 (insert Twilight sound-track here) of men in my peer group (48-58 years old, over a certain height, aka 5'9, who are non-smokers) and that is in a 300 mile radius (again tested) 4) Even with the most basic search criteria I only got 2 match suggestions in "the green" never mind my preferred baseline criteria (nothing out of the ordinary either) ... zero search returns. 5) Outdated search algorithms it appears and non-intuitive interface ... needs revamping from the ground up folks. Digital and AI have moved on ... Saga has not.
