I have tried out quite a few of the dating sites and to be honest they all seem to be pretty much of a muchness and what lets them down is the way they deal or don't deal with the growing amount of abuse and sheer nasty behaviour and immoral behaviour of the men On most of these sites they will lie and cheat to get whatever they can from the women on the sites and then if you dare to say no to them and that you're not interested because you can see the red flags that are waving around them, they turn extremely abusive and when reported to these sites the sites do absolutely nothing and you see these men still on the sites and they still feel the need to send you vile nasty messages and the sites do nothing about it. But if you try and stand up for yourself, the site then comes against the women and puts a ban on their profile. How is this right? I thought treating women like this stopped many years ago. How wrong was I? Please avoid all dating sites must be a better way of meeting somebody cuz the men on these sites are vile. Majority of them are married and if they're not married they're just after a hookup. Nasty nasty people and nasty nasty sites for a condoning it these dating sites need to take a good hard look at the women on their sites and how to help them please remember that some women will meet these men where they're not safe and God knows what could happen to them. We need to rethink these updating sites and be more strict on what sort of language and nastiness is given on these sites towards us women. When I joined 'Sage Dating' I paid for 3 months initially, hopeful but realistic. I accessed this from my phone and was not expecting to see so many adverts which appear over what I am trying to see. When you press the cross to exit them it takes you away from what you were trying to look at. There is little information on potential dates and one video posted was of a man satisfying himself. I reported it and it was eventually taken down but this has left an impression although I appreciate you can't control what others do. In cancelling my subscription early it seems I have now forfeited the right to remain on the site until my subscription ends however long you have left. Why is that!! Not happy.

Saga Dating UK website ('allegedly' exclusive for 50+) ... The long and the short of it: If you are an intelligent woman over 50 --- don't, just don't. As a paid member of Saga (intelligent, quirky and quite attractive may I ad) I took out the 1 month trial subscription for just under £35) I perused the site for over 2 weeks now and here are the statistics thus far: > I had 218 profile views - 2 mutual likes... 2 messages ... that's it.... The issue with Saga seems to be more a technical/search criteria/AI one, as their membership base is said to be for exclusively over 50s ... which it is not, plenty of profiles from 40+ on there 1) The time wasting (and it is cranked up to an extreme on this site) is aggravated by showing profiles that have been dormant for 6 months+ consistently in search results 2) Blocked profiles (I tested this) still re-appear in search and match suggestions over and over again 3) A bewildering nearly complete absence 😬 (insert Twilight sound-track here) of men in my peer group (48-58 years old, over a certain height, aka 5'9, who are non-smokers) and that is in a 300 mile radius (again tested) 4) Even with the most basic search criteria I only got 2 match suggestions in "the green" never mind my preferred baseline criteria (nothing out of the ordinary either) ... zero search returns. 5) Outdated search algorithms it appears and non-intuitive interface ... needs revamping from the ground up folks. Digital and AI have moved on ... Saga has not. I have cross-researched and referenced 5 other dating sites in the past 2 months (as I am also a journalist) and so far, Saga comes at the bottom bottom ... yes, way down basement of my list... needless to say I will not extend my subscription after the month is over. I think it is ridiculous that you can't even send 1 or 2 messages to find out if you even connect with a person before you are required to pay. I will not pay for a site that requires payment before I can even try out the site or talk to anyone.
