Bait and Switch
I recently called to get a warranty for the 2007 Mini I recently purchased. I was quoted $93 per month and decided to move forward with the plan. I paid the first month and took care of the purchase with the representative. The next day I get a call from the rep and am told that the price will actually be $198 per month. Needless to say I canceled the policy. This kind of bait and switch after the purchase is terrible business practice. If they are willing to exhibit such poor ethics with the purchase, I can only imagine how bad it would be if I actually had to file a claim.
