Hi, I’m sorry you had this experience with us. I’m assuming you are outside of the USA and didn’t check the local laws or importing rules for tobacco. With tobacco, it is very challenging to get shipments sometimes. This is the first I’ve heard of us having to make a call for inquiry on a package. Sorry again for the troubles.

We very much regret that your experience with TobaccoPipes.com has left such a negative impression. We try to be forthright and fair in doing business.  I’m afraid I’m not sure what you mean by “spammers”. Though we send emails a few times a week highlighting sales, new releases, etc. we certainly don’t wish to be excessive, and one can always unsubscribe. If you would like to reach out and clarify the situation, we would like to resolve this.

We are sorry to hear that your experience was poor and sincerely hope your package did arrive. We did ship your order the day we received it, then it was in the hands of the carrier. The $40+ you paid was a transaction between yourself and the carrier for expedited delivery. But we do apologize for your negative customer service experience and welcome you to reach out with how you felt they had been dishonest.

We apologize for this negative experience. Though we can usually expect deliveries to be timely, we cannot control if a complication delays once it is out our door. Checking your order, I see we did ship your package less than 4 hours from receiving your order.  As for receiving the wrong item, we are sorry and take full responsibility. We try to be thorough, but some human error is inevitable. Nonetheless, we strive to eliminate it where we can and correct such mistakes when they happen. It is our policy in these circumstances to pay for the return and offer a full refund or a replacement if the intended item is in stock. I see you opted to keep the pipe, and hope it has done you well, though I am sorry it was not the one you initially chose.

We regret that this happened, it brings us no joy that international shipping can be the gamble it is especially with tobacco. Our shipping policy is posted twice on our site and is standard for international shipping in our field. We strongly encourage anyone wishing to place an order with us to review these terms, as it’s never our intention to have one order without being fully aware of the assumed risk.
