One of our outlets were arcing. Even on a Sunday they called and we went thru a few little steps to see if it was the items plugged in or the outlet itself. Come to find out it was a loose outlet. So they called the electrician and he came out the next week and fixed it and went around while on the phone with Ting representative and found out another outlet needed to be replaced. Great service. Thank you again for watching our property.

I purchase Ting about 3 years ago on a recommendation of a friend who Ting had helped with a potential fire hazard in their home. About a year ago I started receiving notices from Ting that my house was experiencing Power Brownouts. I didn't think much about it because we were still recovering from damage done by Hurricane Helene. An electrician friend suggested that I upgrade my electrical service from 100 Amps to 200 Amps. We completed this changeover in mid September. Then I started receiving Ting Alerts for Power Surges in addition to the brownouts. After a week of this I received a text, an email and notices on my Ting App that my Ting sensor is detecting a fire hazard in my home. Specifically, the fire hazard is a damaged, loose, or open neutral connection, located in the utility equipment that serves your home. This is a dangerous condition that can damage devices and appliances and start a fire if left untreated. I immediately called my service provider and the Ting Fire Safety center. Within several hours the Power company confirmed that the neutral line serving my home and several of my neighbors was compromised. They immediately began correcting the issue. During this entire time Ting was constantly in touch with me giving me updates on what they were seeing. After the neutral was repaired Ting continued to notify me that they were monitoring my house. After several days Ting notified me that the situation has remained stable and my house was safe again. I am ecstatic with the service and follow up provided by Ting. I have told this story to a number of friends and neighbors who have all asked me for information so they can get their own Ting.

My insurance company sent me the Ting device and set me up with an Ting account which I didn’t think much of at first. But after more than a year the device started picking up on some issues. Sean at Ting was really helpful in walking me through the process, setting up an electrician, who was fantastic, and because of their monitoring service I was able to fix an electrical issue that I wouldn’t have had any clue about otherwise. I’m really happy Ting is monitoring my home, it does give me a sense of security and everyone I worked with there was professional and helpful. They provide great service and I would recommend.

We had been having issues with lights dimming for a couple of months. We called the power company several times and they said everything was fine. Got Ting on a Thursday afternoon and set it up and the days that followed were scary seeing all the alerts of brownouts and power surges. Then lights started going off completely for a few seconds. My neighbor was having the same issue. Power went off on Sunday for a few minutes and came back on. Only 4 days using Ting and we knew something wasn’t right. Called the power company and they came out and said the service line was too small to handle both homes(we shared the same service line). They replaced the service line and everything is back to normal. Without Ting, we wouldn’t have known how bad the issues actually were.

We recently had a situation that caused our electricity to surge above 132v and stay there. Ting reached out to me through the app, email, and phone text to ensure I was aware of the problem and gave me the specific steps I needed to follow to find a resolution before the problem caused damage to my electrical appliances or a fire. Upon contacting the electric company it was discovered there was a problem with our transformer which they were able to quickly resolve. My wife asked me "how would we have even known about that problem without Ting telling us?" The answer is that we would not have known until something worse happened.

I am beyond grateful for Ting, and State Farm for providing the service to us. I recently had an arcing problem in my home that I would have never known existed if I wasn’t notified by Ting. They helped me step by step to identify the issue and pinpoint where the problem was as well as work out a repair/ resolution. I cannot thank them enough. The communication from the Ting from initial contact to resolution was fantastic. I will never not have this service ever again.

Electrical Utility had a degraded line in my front yard coming to my house. Ting notified me. The utility crews were out in minutes and then spent hours digging up the line and resolving issue. I had seen my lights flickering for months but could not pin point the problem. Your product warned me of the danger when it became bad enough and allowed me to get the problem fixed. Yes, my insurance company had thankfully provided me with your Ting product. Thanks to them - and you!

I had a fire hazard with a lamp in my home. Eric, a Ting member was monitoring my home and discovered that there was arcing occurring during specific hours of the day. He isolated the pattern and then alerted me. I felt very protected by the Ting sensor, service, and Ting team! The Ting sensor is provided to me by my State Farm insurance company at no charge to me. I let the State Farm team know about the potential fire hazard and Ting's ability to prevent a fire immediately!
