I'm so disappointed in the service I received I cancelled my TV and ordered just internet and they still charged me for TV even after I turn in my TV boxes and controllers and demanded I pay them I cancelled because they kept raising the cost without letting me know and charging my card I'd rather use antenna TV before I get force to pay for something I didn't order another disappointed customer.

They started charging me more money…
They started charging me more money without my consent for an internet subscription after a year, because according to them I was signed up for a promotional pricing, and the promotion expired after a year. They didn't want to refund the difference so I cancelled the service.
The service itself wasn't the best. Wifi was very spotty on our smart tv.
Fyi, this is for Spectrum's internet service in Los Angeles.

This company is the worst of the worst
This company is the worst of the worst. Their customer service is abysmal and their advertised internet speeds are a complete lie over what you actually receive. I'm glad I was able to drop their cable TV services. Should have done it years ago.

TWC/Spectrum a bad choice for small business.
We are a local Central New York small service business that Time Warner/ Spectrum courted to change from Verizon Internet and telephone services to them.
At first the service ran smoothly and we can say we were pleased.
But then we had two weather related outages in the last three months, with the most recent being the last 72 hours.
While the weather related issues were not terrible they did cause interruption to our services.
When my office staff called them they responded "well it can take up to one week for us to get to you"., meanwhile almost 100% of the area service was already restored.
When the staff spoke with me and I listened to my staff, and the staff suggested that this would not be acceptable to TWC/Spectrum they now said they would send a tech out on Thursday.
The last time this was the same response, and the last time I explained there are no internal problems only issues externally with the services lines on the streets of our community. Then magically the system was restored.
This time is no different all they need to do is find the problem on the street and the issue will be resolved.
So here is what I know:
1. our company received "material misstatements"/ not true representation as to the services capabilities, and how they would be here providing for our companies needs in a 24 hour window.
2. I need to exit this company relationship because we are a service company and rely on contact with our clients.
3. It always seems that the excuse is that they will send a tech- when in reality if the services external lines were more durable/sturdy the problems would not exist.
4. In reality we should receive credit for days without service off of our bill
under current rules and laws.
5. I strongly suggest that no small business do business with TWC/Spectrum. When the service is working it is great- but when it goes out "no one wants to know you", or make the effort to fix the problem by first "owning the problem" They are always strongly avoiding responsibility for any issue.

Shameful and woeful service & responsiveness
I've been a customer of Time Warner Cable since it was Manhattan Cable (in NY) and after it became Spectrum recently. Overall the cable TV has been excellent (after a period of extensive re-wiring outside my apartment building in the early 10's). Internet, mostly excellent but prone towards 3-4 outages (usually over holidays!) of a few hours to a day, each year.
Most of my years with TWC were involuntary: no alternatives. Now there are a few, but none great, so I've stayed. BUT... this is now my FIFTH DAY without the TV station I most watch (PBS, locally Channel 13/WNET), AND a black screen also on the flagship CBS station, Channel 2/WCBS.
I called immediately when the screen went black - no acknowledgement of a problem but they'll get back to me in a day. (Yes, with a telephone survey). Two days later I call again, still no TV on my most-watched channels (90% of what I watch). This time "engineers are working on it" and "we are aware of an issue". Well, I'm pretty sure I'm not the only TV watcher in Manhattan, and pretty sure they said they'd fix it. I got another survey call in the evening (phone) but no cable TV. Another two days on, five days now, I called again. The TV had come on for about an hour two days ago, then off again, as it still is. "Engineers are working" (for 5 days, having found the problem once, it seems?) This is the best Spectrum's New York engineering team can do? To add salt to the wound, and leading me to become determined to find an alternative to Spectrum ASAP, there is nothing online with the Spectrum web page, indicating any problems (whereas if you read consumer pages you'll see there are tons, beyond mine), and nothing on the phone line beyond "there are no problems in your area". Yes there is a problem: it's called the service and customer responsiveness of TWC/Spectrum. It must be said: this is just inexcusable for a big tech/media company in New York, in 2018. Shameful.

Customer service
Customer service, as it relates to billing inquiries and service changes, is non-existent. The CSR will tell you what you want to hear, but they will not take action on your request. After three months of waiting, I finally had to turn in all of the "rental" equipment to get a service disconnect. It is sad that there is no other competition for them in my area, otherwise they would be out of business.

Time/Warner/Spectrum ethics
Time/Warner/Spectrum is the least ethical company I have found. Their quote to open the account is good for one year without telling the customer, year two the rate goes up because the "promotion" is over with. Of 100 channels on basic, half are cartoons, the other half is ethnic, the other half are repeat stations of the first half thus I am left with 10 channels, of those 3 play the same programs over and over. TV, internet and phone service that I did not ask for nor use is $150.00 per month. Satellite is more of a horror story so I am stuck.
