Hi Lama, Our courses are great to help students learn about writing in English, but we do not have an actual ESL course. The courses are designed to teach some of the grammatical and mechanical basics of English writing, as well as organizational skills for paragraph and essay writing. If you have the basic speaking skills, our courses can definitely help with writing in English. Please call support at 855-771-0915 or email us at [email protected].

My 4th grader started with Time4writing…
My 4th grader started with Time4writing with Elementary Paragraphs with Mrs. Rush. I thought the course was useful, and the feedback was positively constructive. I would have preferred more assignments during the 8 week course, but that is how the course is structured.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Jenny. I'm glad to hear that the course helped.

Great experience with Middle School…
Great experience with Middle School Mechanics, and the teacher. Great feedback , and well said. Only request would be to be able to work ahead one assignment while grading g takes place.

Thanks so much for the feedback. We actually encourage students to open the next assignment and begin thinking about it while waiting for grades. Submissions are closed until the previous grade opens so that students are able to apply any feedback from previous assignment into the new. We don't want students to continue making the same mistakes; frequently if they apply the feedback from the previous assignment, students can eliminate the need for further revisions.

My 8th grade son struggles with…
My 8th grade son struggles with organizing his thoughts (he has amazing ideas, but they look like a tornado hit them). Well, he just completed "Middle School Paragraphs" and WOW! His paragraphs are more organized and he doesn't hate it as much! Thanks

That's great news. We look forward to having him in the next course, MS Essay Writing; you'll really see some results there!

Great Homeschooling resource during Covid-19
Great set of courses that teach various levels of writing fundamentals depending on where your child is at. Both my 7th grader and 10th grader are doing the courses as part of their homeschool. They both do them diligently, but the assignments sometimes take a little bit of extra time for the teachers to mark, which is required before the student can move on, so luckily there is the free 7day extension, otherwise it seems like the courses are not easily completed within the 8weeks. Overall I strongly recommend Time4Writing and both my kids are moving on to the next course.

Hi Jay, I'm glad that your students are enjoying the courses and learning a lot. There is a 23-24 business hour turn-around time, so I like to encourage students to try to log in every day (Monday through Friday) at about the same time each day. If they submit everything up to the next written assignment each time they log in, most of the courses can be completed in 6-7 weeks. Please give us a call or send an email if you have any questions -- [email protected]; 855-771-0915
