This is the most AWFUL company I have EVER come across. Having soooo many issues with their plugin. When I try to get support, they are extremely lackadaisical and don't respond when you need them. Recently I had an issue with my website and they informed me that they don't offer product support after a year. Just another scheme to get money after the fact. All the products I've purchased for my blog give continued support, that's just the way it is. If I had known this was how they operated, I would NEVER have bought their plugin. Now, I'll have to pay money to have a developer fix the issue their product caused. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. Whenever I have issues I'm annoyed to even contact them. I regret using THRIVE THEMES. I'm planning to just delete their plugin and use something else in the future. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Horrible experience, the company sucks
Horrible experience.
Tutorial videos lagging, people that talk in the tutorial talk like robots, not to mention that none of them speaks normally english and that's really annoying (except the head of the company).
the head of the program looks like toxic : no smile, dull tone of voice and nasty look like angry or something. in every sentence he uses the word "conversion", that really pissed me off, because it sounds fake and fabricated.
the program in itself is not intuitive at all, hard to understand the logic. i got really demoralized after the purchase. I stopped and moved to another company. losers...
(by the way, their "focus on conversion" is really a joke : after i cancelled, all what i got is "we are sorry to see you go"... a good marketing company always asks "why" and may be a survey to improve their product and services.... mind blowing how bad they are... A waste of money and time.

Not trustworthy at all
If the question is can I trust this company with my money and my business, the answer has to be not just a resounding no, but hell no. I feel totally betrayed by this company who has made it clear that it does not care about customers, customer service, customer, satisfaction, morality, just profits.
Until now you had a choice to buy Thrive products outright, or buy a monthly subscription. I like to keep finances simple so I paid a vast sum of money investing in 11 products, which until this week, was ALL of Thrive's products.
Thrive has now changed it's business plan such that you can only buy a subscription to all products - all or nothing. They have brought out a new product this week, which they admit is still in beta. If we want access to this product we can only accessing it by buying the whole Thrive Suite.
In my case I have 11 products, if I want 12 I have to now buy 12 products, not just the one that I need, but I have to buy the 11 that I have again, and then the beta product on top. I mean really?
This must be unintentional you think, but I've had a very long email discussion with thrive. This is no mistake, it's quite deliberate. There is no sensible option for people like me. They've kept trying to wrap it up in chocolate fireguards, such that with the suite, you get more licences. It costs thrive next to nothing to offer more licences, but it's worth even less to someone who has already bought all the licences they need outright. It's meaningless and insulting.
To give them their due they have offered a 12 month subscription at 50% then it goes up to 100%. While they make a huge thing of this, they haven't thought it through. I already own 92% of the products outright. Even at 50% discount I'm still paying 5x more than I should be paying for just 1 plugin. When you take account that the new plugin is only beta, then you can see the lunacy of this situation. On top of this the 50 % lasts for 12 months only. It's meaningless worthless tosh, and extremely insulting.
I have put to Thrive themes that I would be more than willing to pay for additional plugins on a pro rata basis, but it's falling on deaf ears. I can't even get customer services to refer this upwards, and I have asked them to do so more than once.
People like me are the ones who were with Thrive from the beginning. We are the ones that put Thrive in the situation they are. We helped build them. This is how our goodwill is repaid. By trying to extort more money by forcing us to buy a whole suite of products all over again, most of which we've already paid for outright, by investing considerable sums of money. I don't use that word lightly, it does feel like extortion. This company is in effect writing off the investment we've all made in it, and forcing us to pay again. It won't even listen to a simple solution of grandfathering people like me out by allowing us to pay pro rata fir what we don't have. That would be so easy for them to implement, and give them a revenue stream they would otherwise lose by disgusted customers walking away. It would rather lose long standing loyal customers outright.
If you're starting your investment from scratch like we're being forced to do - there's far better options out there than thrive. Solutions that offer far better customer service, which I've seen go from dire, to extremely mediocre.
This is not a company you can trust with your money or website.

Misleading and doesn't help in urgent situations.
Next is Better Business Bureau. I woke up this morning to see in my email an unexpected charge from Thrive Themes for $228 and have been having panic attacks since. When I initially purchased Thrive Themes, what I saw was that it was a one time charge. This must've changed at some point during the traumatic couple years I've gone through, because when I made the purchase it said "one time" and "for life." In fact, in the earlier months, I was so impressed by this, I recommended it to other people, but will be sure not to do that anymore. I never saw anything being that it was a recurring charge. Since the purchase, I have encountered an enormous amount of struggle and have forgotten about Thrive Themes. I don't even use the service. My site and hosting has long been shut down. I have been so overwhelmed, that I ignore junk emails. I have been dealing with grief since my brother died, doing my comprehensive exams homeless for a time consuming MFA program I'm trying to put myself through with no family and no help, then finding a place and struggling to keep a roof over mine and my two little dogs' heads, barely eating...just to get a degree...and I let them know this. I let them know this was a completely unexpected charge, that they took part of my rent money that has not yet even been covered, and I need a refund immediately. It says they take a few hours to respond. I have waited an entire day with no response and this is urgent.

Thrive's products would be ok if they had competent phone support. Or even ANY kind of phone support.
Thrive's products would be ok if they worked as intended. But they don't. Loads of technical issues. Therefore, there's a huge need for quality customer support, which they don't offer. I pay an annual fee to be a member that was assumed would give me access to premium customer support to get me through all the issues I was having, but their idea of "support" is to email them (no phone number available, no live chat) and wait for them to respond via email. As you can imagine, if they don't understand what the problem is from reading your first email, and/or if you don't fully understand what they are suggesting as a solution, there are endless emails going back and forth for days, weeks, even months before the problem gets resolved.... IF it ever gets resolved. In additions to the loads of little technical glitches that I come across daily, I haven't been able to figure out how to create a blog on my site using Thrive that actually looks and functions like a blog should. Customer support emails have been very vague and are written with the assumption that I'm a professional web developer with all kinds of knowledge and experience already with building web pages. I assumed Thrive products were for those of us business owners that don't have all that knowledge and needed an easy, user-friendly interface to create our own websites and blogs. It seems the only thing the annual fee I shell out is getting me is access to some free "University" videos that don't help much. Even with my paid membership, not all of these instructional videos are free. It's a rip off. I'm very close to looking into starting over from scratch with another website, canceling my Thrive membership, and cutting my losses.

I've been a Thrive Themes…
I've been a Thrive Themes paid-subscription member since 2018, and used to rave about their suite of products for building websites, sales funnels, and digital marketing, even though their Tech Support has always been an inefficient back-and-forth process for fixing problems. I’ve recommended new people to Thrive. It takes something really bad for me to complain, really bad. I always try to give all companies the benefit of the doubt. However, Thrive Themes has forced a change in my opinion as of this past Friday May 21.
Here's the short story. One of the expensive Thrive products we purchased was severely malfunctioning to where every time we tried to save changes, our work wasn't being saved. We contacted Tech Support, who asked us to create a staging website (a replica) where they wanted to reinstall Thrive Theme Builder in order to safely test our site to find out what was wrong. This way our REAL site could not be accidentally damaged and be removed from harm’s way in case the test did go wrong. So we created the staging site for them.
The next day in GREAT SHOCK (after I did a Google search of my site), I immediately could see our main site was completely broken! What happened? Instead of testing on our Staging website (the "safe" replica) as promised, some idiot in Thrive Tech Support (I have proof of this) either reinstalled the theme or tampered with the code (as CSS Code was later found missing) on our Main Site, NOT on the staging website, the only environment where they were supposed to experiment. In less than a few hours, our MAIN SITE’S APPEARANCE WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED!
In other words, Thrive Tech Support members told us to create a staging site (which we did) in order to test (to fix) a theme problem, but someone at Thrive irresponsibly tinkered and/ or reinstalled Thrive Theme Builder on our MAIN LIVE site causing our entire site to break!
The timing could not have been worse. We had just hosted a successful online 2-hr event for the 42nd Annual AAPI Summit on Monday May 17 where many attended and participated. Being proud of our new beautiful website we just built, we mentioned it several times during the event. Our goal was to leverage new sales and subscribers opting in through our funnel to purchase our new course and services on our beautiful new ready-website, which would have happened if not for Thrive Tech Support’s unauthorized meddling on our Main Website (instead of the staging website we created for Thrive to conduct tests on in order to AVOID THIS VERY PROBLEM).
As a result of this unforeseen debacle, we can confirm we have LOST SALES REVENUE and even worse SUFFERED EMBARRASSING DAMAGE TO OUR PROFESSIONAL REPUTATION.
Hey, accidents happen. We all make mistakes, we understand we are all human. But that’s not the problem here.
We lost significant income due to Thrive Tech Support’s unauthorized use of our main site and errors there. Even worse, as a result of Thrive Support’s malfeasance, we soon received embarrassing emails asking “What the hell happened to your site?” from some of our fans and attendees who went to the website after it was broken by Thrive. Our professional reputation has suffered irreparable damage.
Subsequently, we uncovered undeniable proof that our main website breaking was due to human error by the Thrive Tech Support Team, and presented the evidence accordingly. You would think they would try hard to remedy the situation with us, right? Do the right thing? Especially given that we have been loyal FULL PAID subscription suite-based customers for 3+ years.
All we asked Thrive Upper Management for was a fraction of compensation to make up for our revenue loss caused by their own internal staff error. We were hoping for a friendly resolution. Instead we get a constant run-around, distorting of the facts, dwelling on irrelevant information, and a litany of poor excuses.
Obviously, there is no accountability with Thrive Themes, even toward their most loyal customers like us. All they are interested in is covering up and making excuses for their own egregious errors.
Unless they will soon approach us with a fair offer of compensation for the losses we have incurred, we will continue to spread the word.
Extremely sad how far this once- promising company has fallen in such a short period of time.

Worst experience ever with any plugin
Worst experience ever with any website-related issue. These guys sell their products at an expensive price yet they are reluctant to give you customer support or any kind of service.
