I have been using Thrive Themes and although I like the look of the theme, when they update their products, formatting issues start appearing on your website. This happens all too often. The Thrive Themes support doesn't make any effort to help with this. The support is horrible.

I took a full package membership 2 years ago based on the recommendations of a freelancer who was at the time managing some digital marketing services for me. I am going to try and be brief and leave a fair review based on my personal experience. Pros: - Easy themes and tools to create a page - Support team always kind and try their best Cons: - I wanted to downgrade my membership since I ended up not using many of the tools they had. They confirmed that it was no longer possible as they had changed recently their plan structure to only have one. With my small business and personal life suffering because of the current economical challenges, it is a real pain for me to carry on paying nearly £100 every 2 to 3 months. And if I cancel my membership it will screw up my website I guess leaving my customers with a very bad shopping experience since their theme will no longer work on my worldpress website. - whenever I have an issue I have to way at least 24 hours (most of the time and it gets worst in the weekend) before eventually someone comes back to me. Most of the time for one issue it takes at least 3 days to be fixed due to the backward and forward message communications which are not answered straight away by the suport team. This is not good enough if you have a proper problem on your website. You can't run an efficient business like this! - the team used to be more flexible 2 years ago for customers who were not too savvy with digital marketing and technology and they even used to go into their client website to fix things themselves to save you time and effort. Now they seem to have stopped offering that. All they do is sharing some tutorial links to fix the problem yourself. Although it is appreciated to have a solution with tutorials, I think Thrive Theme ignores the fact that not many website owners are good with technology and digital marketing and their main concern/focus is to take care of their customers as opposed to spending hours on a website trying to fix issues. It is a real shame that the service has gone so down in quality and speed. If this is carrying on, it is just a question of time before myself and people will simply cancel their membership and go elsewhere.

I purchased Thrive and immediately ran into the support issue. Supposedly is an European company, but the support is not. They answer only during night hours, from midnight to 5am. If you're lucky you talk to an assistant from Romania, very good technician, but i could talk with him just one time. The chat is actually a ticket with response time of 8 or 10 hours during business hours. Each implementation or bug, then becomes very long to solve, with continuous slowdowns because a ticket is not always handled by the same person and you find yourself with absurd answers and having to ask to reread the content of the ticket. In short, the plugin does its job, in a basic way (it's not for those who want a professional site), but the support doesn't help at all. I give 2 stars because, (1) for the support, which is really bad. (+1) extra star only for the technician from Romania, which would deserve 5, but everything else is in my opinion not as good as it is presented. Shame, I hope to reconsider my rating in the future and I wish them all the success.
