Subscription Model Limits Flexibility of Thrive Themes for Agencies
I think it's cheeky that once my agency subscription has expired, my customers can no longer use their own websites. They can no longer add anything, delete anything, edit anything. No texts, no images, nothing. If something has to be changed from a legal point of view (imprint, GDPR, etc.) - you can't change anything! As an agency owner, I can't use this product for my customers, because if I ever stop my service or I would like to use a different provider, my customers have a website that they can no longer change themselves. I understand that you get no support and no updates, but the fact that you can no longer change the website is total nonsense for me. It's not as if a customer could just buy a new licence. The licence costs $800 per year from the 2nd year onwards. Since the takeover of awesome motive, product innovations have also fallen dramatically. They are great products that I love, this point makes the product extremely unattractive because I am trapped in thrive's system. Pay a lot of money or you can't use anything.

Hi there, We understand your concerns about the limitations of the Agency license. We strive to create a sustainable model that allows us to continuously develop new features, provide excellent customer support, and ensure the longevity of our products for everyone. Subscription-based models are standard for software these days. With an active Agency license, you gain access to 10 plugins for use on 50 websites, which translates to 500 premium plugin installations. This allows you to manage a significant number of client sites effectively. We understand that client transitions can happen. In these situations, you can always direct your clients to our website to obtain their own licenses. If you have specific concerns regarding the Agency license or encounter issues you'd like help with, please don't hesitate to reach out to our friendly Support team via the Support Page. We're always happy to discuss your needs and find a solution if possible. Best Regards
