Thor metal group did not give my coins on IRA rollver and several other people on there IRA

Just like everyone else I have been scammed by the Thor Group and Matthew Ayabarreno. It’s a scam because half the stories is the same script I was given. I just do not understand if there are this many victims getting bet out of their IRA why haven’t the government stepped in?

I am finally out of the absolute darkest financial hole of my entire life. I struck up a casual conversation with a stranger on a professional networking forum who eventually brought up trading. They actually seeded my dashboard with a $6,000 credit line. After hitting a few major market signals, I was allowed to clear out $9,400 to my bank. I went completely reckless and pulled $400,000 from my corporate lines of credit. Within two weeks, their system claimed my account was worth $6.4 million. When I finally attempted to withdraw $1,428,468, they froze it, demanding a 7% liquidity fee ($99,992). I paid it, only to be hit with a secondary 22% unfreezing fee. That second fee request exposed the entire scam. I was completely devastated and physically ill. I explained the chain of events to my banker, who transferred me directly to (Bramsey Advisor). By reconstructing the entire transactional history on-chain, they pinned down the physical infrastructure the scammers were using. Law enforcement closed in, arrests were made, and every single coin was successfully re-routed back to me.

I invested an IRA into Thor Group Last September. It took almost a year to see that a partial purchase of metals were finally made. I am still waiting to be made whole with my account. Mr. Thor initially called me to assure that everything would be made good... Be patient. Well now as of August 12th, I received an e-mail stating that even though I'm still owed metals that "this is the best they can do at this time" and asking for my understanding. Since then no response after 3 e-mails! Fees that were supposed to be covered as promised for two years, I am now being invoiced. I have all the documentation to back up this review. Stay Away from this company... period. The salesmanship was terrific, the promises were plenty but the actual business practicality is terrible. I am so tired and fed up dealing with this, it should not have been this hard to invest.

Tmg refuse to comply to my request since Feburary their norshalant attitude to address customers wants could not be tolerated anymore. Is a thing of Joy to finally report to T2 ON let them feel what we feel when they don't do what we users want. They scamming and depriving us from our rights must stop . Join the movement and together we can make a difference. Thanks for the devotion to give me and my sister a resolution.

Thor Metals Group has had possession of several thousand dollars of my IRA fund, promising in late December to purchase gold and silver for a self directed IRA. We developed a plan, I received a sales order invoice with specific amounts of each metal yo be purchased, was told there was a 2 week waiting period due to back up before metals would reach depository I chose. According to company faqs, should take no longer than 28 days for metals to be purchased and sent to depository. I received a letter of direction for purchasing the metals from Entrust Group, metals were to be confirmed by Delaware Depository and deposited for safekeeping. As of today, the Delaware Depository has not received the metals, also verified at Entrust Group that Thor Metals Group retains my original investment, no delivery of metals. They have also retained my 81 year old mother's life savings, never purchasing metals promised. Do not do business with this company. Now they claim to be under investigation by FBI for employees trying to sabotage them. There is no mention of FBI investigation I can find anywhere so believe its a stall tactic. Already complained to Better Business Bureau, on this sight and will continue to make complaints until they account for my money and my mother's life savings.

Worst experience of my life! Thor Metals Group moved $195,000 to their escrow account in late March 2026 to purchase meyals for my IRA. As of this post no metals have purchased and delivered to the depository. I have requested funds be moved back into my account so I can move them. No response from Thor! I believe I've been robbed! I have filed a complaint with my state securities and exchange fraud division.

Matthew Ayabarenno was suppose to be an advisor to those needing advise on precious metals. Unfortunately he scammed me by over charging the gold and silver I purchased via wire transfer.I purchased last April of 2025 when prices were low. If I were to sell it back today I'm down over $10k.
