Designed to fail; no support; false hopes given
When is my thermoses developed a leak when I tilted it on the side. Iy contacted thermos support and they told me it may be possible to replace the parts complementary by them Then they replied back stating no , they would not be able to provide the parts giving me a false sense of hope. They stated my item is discontinued and they no longer have replacement parts. Then I pleaded with them that i'm a long time thermos customer , and maybe they can send me a replacement? They replied back saying they would research it , but then they took several weeks to reply back in the night followed up with them again and they said no , this is not possible. How is this company supposed to survive in the age of planned obsolescence? Many, including myself, are looking to purchase products and services that will last for a long time. And provide value and quality. Come on now , thermos , can't we do better?
