Raw foods rock the boat
I have different views on what the raw food World represents. First off, I think raw food world has a great selection of quality products...secondly, I don't believe it's actually sustainable, with everything in packages being sent from all over the world. It's a bit of the opposite of Sustainable actually. The customer service is great, Katie is awesome and knowledgeable but most of the staff have no experience with the products other than stocking and packing/shipping. I usually find what I'm looking for and I appreciate the laid back and pleasant attitude of the staff, great vibes at the warehouse when music is playing and people are hanging out discussing health and whatever's happening. I am local to the warehouse so it is a gift that I have access to the abundance the raw food world has in stock however I often feel guilty to purchasing foods from so far away and prefer to eat more locally grown Superfoods. My children always have fun seeing everyone and we love the discounted shelf, great deals. I have an overall great experience everytime I visit but I always leave questioning the imported foods, a diet in packages and how it is so costly to do so. I am not a raw foodist anymore and have appreciated a more grounding, sustainable and whole Foods diet.
