Today, August 18, 2026, I am here to revise my previous review of Theradome due to Management stepping up and taking care of the issue at hand with total professionalism. I am seriously impressed and now I know that Management takes their product and customers serious. I will be back with an updated review once we have sealed the deal as professionals.

I will write another review after a few months but for now, after just 7 treatments, the shedding I was experiencing has improved. I use to run my hand through my hair and no matter if I just brushed my hair, lots of strands would be in my hands or I would feel them tickle my face or shoulders when they would randomly just fall out. Before using the Theradome LH80, after shampooing my hair the drain would have so much hair in the strainer. It would freak me out. I would think, at this rate, I won’t have enough hair to put in a ponytail! I am post menopausal and I believe this has contributed to the hair shedding. I started taking a hair supplement a few months ago but it wasn’t until I started using the helmet twice a week along with the supplement that I noticed a difference. I’m very hopeful that in 3-6 months my hair will be fuller and healthier. I will circle back later on and update my progress. The price is $$$ but to me it’s worth it. Consistency is key!!!!

I have had my helmet for about 1 1/2 years. After about 9 months my battery needed to be replaced. After contacting the company regarding my problem, I was told that if I wrote a glowing review that I could get a complimentary battery, after much back and forth with the representative, his tone changed, he was rude, and I had to remind them that the helmet had a one year warranty before my battery was replaced. Shortly before my one year anniversary, I was given an opportunity to purchase an extended warranty. I could not do it online so I called to purchase the warranty over the phone. When I contacted the company regarding an issue with my helmet, I was told that I never purchased the warranty. After checking my account, I was never charged for the warranty however I don't understand why I was not advised that the charge did not go through, especially since the funds were readily available. I have tried reaching out on numerous occasions via phone and email to follow-up and purchase the warranty but no one will follow up. I have been trying to contact the company for several months. I'm happy to report that after posting this review, I was contacted by Customer Service. They have corrected the situation and provided me the warranty that I initially paid for therefore I am upgrading my rating.

I’ve been using Theradome for 2 years and I’m very happy with it. It seems to have reduced my hair loss. I tried a different brand first and hated I had to have a cord attached to it with a battery pack. And I noticed no difference. Theradome has no battery pack which is so much better!! Great design and very good product.

NET-NET: After posting an uncomplimentary review, I am updating this post: I have continued to work with Theradome and I WOULD/will do business again with Theradome. I would advise prospective customers; - Be accurate and careful with your shipping information & contact phone number. - TRACK the package through UPS yourself, Be aware of the actual delivery date. If for ANY reason the certified delivery goes astray, YOU will be charged $150 for shipping, before any refund or redelivery attempt can be made. This is IN Theradome's stated policies, ...from a link on the last page of the website, at the bottom of the page (ie, not obvious). Theradome ships its products certified, so the recipient must acknowledge and receive the product. This makes sense: the Theradome product is a fairly pricey medical product. I'm not sold on a $150 shipping cost, (maybe $75 each direction makes sense?) but Theradome DOES tell you upfront, if you dig deep enough. Our delivery problem on round #1 was due to UPS - NOT Theradome - but it cost us personally $150. Just be aware. Theradome HAS delivered a replacement product. The refund (less $150) has been made in a timely fashion. They DID provide the same (or even better!) discount. Thank you! Jim from Theradome took a personal interest in this transaction, and was on top of the shipment & delivery all along the way. (which IS, IMHO, 'above & beyond!) Because an actual person at Theradome went the extra mile to help us get the product on round #2, I want to give them a high score. Because I'm out $150, I'm knocking off one star. Stay tuned for an update in 3-5 months on how well the product worked!
