Paid $40k+ for an App That Wasn’t Built
Overall, my experience with Praetors has been extremely disappointing and concerning. Nearly three years passed with little to no meaningful progress on my project, and substantive work only began approximately two months ago despite full payment and repeated follow-ups. Throughout this time, communication was inconsistent, deadlines were repeatedly missed, and deliverables did not align with what was contractually agreed upon. Based on the prolonged delays, lack of transparency, and failure to deliver as promised, I feel misled by Praetors and would caution others to proceed very carefully before engaging in business with them.
Response from Praetors, LLCApr 3, 2026
Official Response from The Praetors LLC We take all client feedback seriously. However, the claims presented in this review are disputed and relate to a matter that is currently under legal review. This particular engagement involved a complex, multi-phase development project with dependencies on third-party integrations and client-provided specifications. As documented in our records, progress on certain deliverables was directly impacted by delays in receiving required inputs, approvals, and external infrastructure commitments necessary to proceed. At multiple stages, our team continued work in good faith, maintained communication, and provided updates aligned with the scope of the project. The assertion that there was “little to no meaningful progress” does not accurately reflect the documented development activity, deliverables, and collaborative efforts throughout the engagement. It is also important to note that this matter has been escalated to legal representatives on both sides. Given the ongoing nature of this review, we are limited in what we can publicly disclose. However, we remain fully prepared to present comprehensive documentation, including timelines, communications, and work completed, through the appropriate legal channels. We strongly discourage the use of public platforms to present partial or disputed narratives while a matter is unresolved, as this does not contribute to a fair or accurate representation of the facts. The Praetors LLC remains committed to professional conduct, transparency, and resolving matters through appropriate and structured processes.
