North American Guitar has been really great. I special-ordered an amp through them sourced in the UK, with custom wiring for the USA. It took a little while since the amp-maker had a backlog, but thier communication was great, and the amp arrived safe and sound. When ordering something from halfway around the world, I really appreciate being treated as a valued customer with the same great service they must give the locals. I'd happily do business with North American Guitar again.

Revised Review: What has brought me to amending my original review (see below)? Well, very shortly after posting, I received an email from TNAG expressing genuine concern and a wish to restore my trust in their customer service. In my experience, far too many companies priorities money over the customer and am therefore surprised and refreshed by TNAG's hearty response. I now view my original mild criticism as a rare 'blip' in the works - don't we all 'ave 'em! - and will without reserve, use their services in the future. Original Review: Would have liked to give 3.75 stars but couldn't quite manage 4. The reason for less than top rating is this. Before placing my order, I first inquired as to whether the item was in stock; it was and so I went ahead and ordered. The postage for the item (nail file) was £7, which I thought was excessive but as I needed it fast; the item was in stock and delivery would be speedy; I accepted this. Now, what is the point of a speedy delivery if the item is not dispatched at least on the following day (Friday)? It wasn't sent off until late Monday, after an inquiry as to its whereabouts. Sure enough it arrived on Tues - so the postal service was up to the mark. Oh well, no great shakes - just a bit put out, surprised and disappointed.

I recently purchased my first guitar from The North American Guitar store and must say it was a very satisfying experience. I live in Perth, Western Australia and have been collecting mainly solo luthier guitars from overseas as they are hard to come by in Australia. Ben was great to deal with along with Peter, who was able to record and upload a couple of videos within a couple of hours. Quite extraordinary actually! Ben made me feel like a valued customer and the whole transaction from enquiry to delivery in my hands was less than a week. I am very happy with the great service, great price and general follow up as well as a value added gift. It is was a pleasure to do business with Ben and it will not be the last guitar I will buy from him..

I got a Nik Huber Redwood from Ben. Amazing guitar. The shop is a great place to play and spend time with the guitar. I visited the store but live in the US, so they shipped the guitar and it arrived fast - there was a slight issue at customs which Ben took care of promptly. I bought many guitars and this was the best experience I had to date - highly recommended.

I ordered a Wolfram Nail File from TNAG, and 2 arrived. When I phoned to explain - Richard told me to keep both as a gift!! A truly exceptional company.
