Excellent service; prompt and professional

Excellent from the time of sales call to installation to after call. The installer explained the options available and recommended the best keeping in mind cost vs benefit. The monthly charge of $15 (wifi based) is very affordable compared to other providers and so far so good!

The Monitoring Centre was recommended to us by a colleague who was a customer already. After researching the company, I was pleased by the high overall satisfaction ratings and you can't argue with the price. We have an existing alarm system that never worked from the day we purchased the house. I knew going in that we would need some extra attention and parts to get the system working. After sending our request in for further information, TMC contacted us quickly and answered all of our initial questions. We scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out and get us going. Our tech was Gideon who brought over 40 years of experience with him. Super personable and was very informative. He quickly diagnosed the issues we had with the system. Firstly, since we have Rogers Ignite as our VOIP phone provider, he installed a GSM module so the system could call out to the TMC. Next he determined that our backup battery was cooked and replaced this. Lastly, he traced wiring and figured out that our sliding door contact was shorted out. He removed the contact and since we have a wired system, he will return to install a wireless contact in its place. Paperwork was very easy and all in all, parts were priced fairly. After all this, we still have the option of adding in a phone app to monitor if we want to. I really didn't know there was so much flexibilty with a system that is relatively older. I am pleased that the system is repaired and we are now monitored. Extra security is always a good thing. At one point, I was going to use Rogers Smart Home Monitoring. Our system is now exactly what we would have gotten at a much higher price. I fully recommend TMC for your home alarm needs
