LampsterReviews of thelampster.com

Ordered mine 5 years ago and still haven't seen it!! Have been in contact with them regular. Latest they said I could get it if just i paid a more for freight - but I still havent seen it!!! I dont believe that anyone can do that to customers who HAVE PAID and I wonder why other people can get their LAMPSTER. Cero stars from me, if that was possible.

Not worth the wait, plastic and cheap. Unpleasant to deal with.

Order a lamp back in may 2017 (almost 5 years), still waiting for it now!!! sent emails and even offered to pay the extra to have it sent. To put it bluntly I’ve been ripped off, unless you want to lose your money just keep clear of the lampster

I order the lamp via their shop website and were treated like if I just backed their kickstarter campaign. They did not deliver in years, as they decided to not produces the lampster in the picked color version. The only option they offered was to pick another color option. I numerously asked for withdrawal from the contract as they were not delivering as order but was only granted to pick a different color lampster. When it arrived it contained everything as promised (besides the color). It is a stunning object. But when taking a closer look, one finds several production problems: the two polyurethane body parts do not fully fit together. There are gaps at certain parts leading so the lamp would not stand without the additional rubber shoes. By the experience with the lampster shop and PR team it didn't want the discuss these issues as there are things less painful to do. The promised app exists, but is only working on random days. Might have to do with moon phases or so.

Ordering: Had to wait for years, after I paid. Product: Bad, Lampster burned somewere inside after a few months Service from company: even worse.. don't react in the proper way, don't care and don't want to give any help. Technical: the Lampster app is a disaster. Crashes all the time. Overall: never buy this crappy lamp...

So unhappy with this company like many others. Supported them on Kickstarter which has to be 3-4 years ago which included shipping to our country. Promised many times for the lamp to be shipped then ignored. Finally got an answer which was I had to pay an additional $65 (yes that's correct) to have my lamp shipped if I wanted it. Excuses were it was to expensive for them to honor the Kickstarter agreement and they didn't expect it to be so expensive. The lamp made it and its not worth it for the new "retail" price IMO plus shipping. If you are prepared to ask people to back you under an agreement, take their money and hold it for years, you should honor that agreement and not charge them a large amount for shipping.

This lamp is crap. Don’t buy. There are better ones available online that are cheaper and are better quality

Scam. Save your money. Buy something else. Haven’t received my lamp. Ordered over 5 year ago on Kickstarter.
