I ordered a Lamptster in 2015 with an expected delivery of June 2016. 3 1/2 years later and still nothing. August 2018 I received an email saying my product would finally be dispatched and to please check my address, did that. Got no responses also still no tracking details contacted via their email support. Nothing until November 2018 when I received another dispatch notification that also came to nothing and still no tracking details. When I replied to their email from November it took them 2 months to just send me a template which contained no personal details apart from my name and a ticket number which is new, oh and already in the 1000+ something Back then this was quite a cool project and interesting use of technology and of recycling parts. Now in 2019, I can get a bulb off of Amazon that does the same thing for 40€. I’m furious and extremely disappointed.

I backed this project on Kickstarter in late 2015. It's approaching mid 2019 now, and I'm still waiting. While I understand that a project like this can take longer than expected, they are now 2,5 years late on the initial estimated delivery. And it's not looking like things are going to get better. The management of this project has been extremely poor. Even promises of updates (not actual production or shipping, just status updates!) are broken time and time again. The last official update dates November 2018. In March 2019 a new update was promised on five occasions ("next week definitely"), but each time it was delayed for no clear reason. These guys received over 1 million dollars of funding, and clearly it was way more than they could handle. The whole company is an untransparent mess, and communication is the worst I've ever seen. So spare yourself the frustration and avoid these guys at all cost!

This company and the guy who runs it are terrible, just terrible. I’ve been round and round with them about... first, the wait time, not weeks, not months, YEARS to receive! Second, it wasn’t the lamp I ordered. They just up and sent me whatever, regardless of what I actually ordered.. didn’t even have a US plug (it was ordered with a US plug). Also, they ONLY communicate through Facebook so, good luck if you have an issue but don’t have Facebook. I’d say you only have about 12% chance of being satisfied

As you have read. Many of us are so disappointed with this company. Last February the owner Radu guaranteed me i would have my lamp by may. I have copies of these Facebook messages. Last week I read they only have 20 more to send to my country. I haven’t had one. I haven’t been informed. I asked and now they guarantee I’ll get it with in 2months. They just didn’t say which two months. Because of this company I’ll never use kickstarter again. An abortion of a company.

I ordered this product for $178 in November of 2016. I contacted the company in December 2018 and advised it had been two years and that I hadn't received the product. Customer service advised me that my original color (silver) was not in production and I could get a "red artsy" lamp sooner. I was advised mid-January 2019 was the new receipt date. Now, it is late March 2019, and I have not received anything. I recently sent a request to customer service for an update with no response. I now believe that I may never receive this product. Update: I have made multiple attempts to contact customer service with no responses every received after the March 2019 review I posted. I believe this is a scam, and know I will never receive a refund or a product at this point. $200 down the drain!!

Backer #3702 from Kickstarter. It was sad to see some one order from their website in 2017 gets the lampster early than the original supporter back up their project in Dec, 2015. I’m still waiting for my lampster.

I backed the Lampster project in December 2015 for 2 lamps for my 2 children to have on their desks. Over 3 years later and still no news of actually receiving anything. We have had to buy them other lamps to use in the meantime as they asked for desk lamps so many times and I couldn’t stall the request any longer !! Order was for a silver and blue lamp with UK plugs and I paid $396
